NASIR HASAN 100% REAL LIFE STORY CHAPTER 1
In the early part of the twentieth century, there was a maritime transport service by boat between Sri Lanka and India. It was possible to travel from Sri Lanka to India and return from India to Sri Lanka as required. During such a period, a person named 'Bawa Mohideen' from the state of Kerala in India came to Sri Lanka by boat. He married a woman named 'Balkees' from the town of Yatiyanthota in Sri Lanka. The couple, Bawa Mohideen and Balkees, lived in a hut in the area of Kallumalai, in the town of Yatiyanthota, Kegalle District, Sri Lanka.
In the past, the town of Yatiyanthota was known as 'Yadavanathota'. Due to the town being completely destroyed by a flood disaster, it was called 'Yadavanathota', and later renamed 'Yatiyanthota'. From its beginning, Yatiyanthota was a town equipped with all facilities. At that time, there were six or seven wells for water facilities. Furthermore, transportation was also carried out by train. In this unique village, in the year 1932, Muhammad Kabir was born to Bawa Mohideen and Balkees.
While Kabir was traveling from Yatiyanthota to Colombo for tailoring work, he associated with a woman named 'Kareem Beebee' and married her. They were blessed with 3 sons and 2 daughters. From a young age, Kabir was a person with good talent in everything. A strong ability to argue was prominently seen in him. He maintained connections with many politicians. His best friend was N.M. Perera. N.M. Perera was the founder of the Lanka Sama Samaja Party, the first political party in Sri Lanka.
At that time, there was no import of foreign goods into Sri Lanka. The politicians who rebelled against N.M. Perera attempted to bring foreign goods into Sri Lanka. The opposition leader said that if they voted for him and made him win the election, he would try to bring foreign goods into Sri Lanka. N.M. Perera said, "If foreign goods come to Sri Lanka, the people will have to face major problems." But the people did not believe this, and they voted for the opposition leaders in the election, giving them the victory. Because of this, N.M. Perera not only lost the election but was also severely shaken by the great sorrow that "the people did not believe him." As a 'best friend', Kabir supported him until the end. After some time, N.M. Perera passed away.
Kabir's main profession was tailoring. In addition to this, he suffered greatly for his family by cutting firewood and working on estates. Furthermore, he raised, educated, and socialized all five of his children with great difficulty.
Kabir’s son, Nidavs, studied well, passed the Ordinary Level (O/L) examination, successfully sat for the Advanced Level (A/L) examination in the Science stream, and became a Science teacher at Karagoda Muslim Maha Vidyalaya. At that time, the monthly salary for a teacher was one thousand rupees. He quit the teaching profession after a short period because of the low salary, citing, "The salary is only one thousand rupees; the salary is low."
After completing the Medical Laboratory Technology Course, he worked as a doctor (specializing in blood and urine testing) in a large hospital in Colombo. He later rented a shop in Yatiyanthota and excellently continued this medical profession. He was also seen as a respected man, highly regarded and honored by everyone in society.
After Kabir arranged the marriages of his two daughters, he made arrangements for Nidavs to marry a woman named 'Inaya' from the Kurunegala area. Inaya was a beautiful woman with good qualities. She was educated in a Sinhala school and passed both the Ordinary Level and Advanced Level examinations.
To speak further about Inaya, she was proficient not only in academics but also in the field of sports. It is noteworthy that she participated in running races held among nearly sixty (60) schools and won first place. Having participated in many sports competitions and won first place, earning several certificates, it is remarkable that she also participated in a running race with Mrs. Susanthika Jayasinghe, a famous running champion in Sri Lanka, and achieved fourth place.
Nidavs and Inaya got married in the year 1998. Thereafter, Inaya moved to Nidavs' house in Kallumalai. From the day she went there, she led a life without peace or happiness. She faced many troubles from her husband's family. Inaya endured many hardships, acting with patience in everything and living her life. Moreover, she was in a state of self-pity about her own life. Lighting up Inaya’s life which had turned to darkness, she gave birth to a son named 'Nasir Hassan' on June 26, 1999.
Nasir Hassan was raised by his mother with great difficulty amidst many hardships. Once, unable to bear the pain she suffered from her husband's family, she became estranged from everyone and went to her own village home in Kurunegala, taking seven-month-old Hassan with her. After a few days, Hassan's father went to Kurunegala, reconciled with her, and brought her back to the Kallumalai house.
As time passed, her husband's family repeatedly did not let her live in peace. Finally, Inaya, thinking, "I cannot tolerate this anymore," gave all her gold jewelry to her husband to sell. After he used the money received from the sale to buy the shop where he ran his medical practice, Inaya took Hassan and moved there to live. The back and upper part of that shop served as a house. After moving there, she found some measure of relief. When Hassan was four years old, his sister, 'Zahra Jahan', was born on February 17, 2003.
At the age of five, after one year of pre-school education, Nasir Hassan began his primary education in the first grade at Karagoda Muslim Maha Vidyalaya. From the beginning of school, he was good at his studies. He was proficient not only in academics but also in sports. In his childhood, he befriended Jassim and Jesli, who lived in the front house. His hobbies included joining them to play, fighting as if they were wrestling, and playing cricket with everyone.
Nasir Hassan passionately loved cricket from a young age. His goal was to "become a cricketer in the future." Every day, his time was spent morning and evening on the nearby playground. Even when he went to school, it was the same game. Moreover, at home, day and night, he would constantly hit the ball against the wall, batting it back when it returned, playing alone.
He would write the name of the popular Indian cricket player, Virender Sehwag, on the back of his jersey with chalk and go to play wearing that jersey. On school holidays, he would take his bat and go to the playground to play cricket every day before dawn. On school days, he would also go to school before the scheduled time, gather everyone, and play cricket before school started. Because his mother told him, "To become a cricketer, you should play with a leather ball, not a plastic ball," he played cricket with a leather ball from a young age. He would go to the large playground in Yatiyanthota and join the people playing with a leather ball there. Even there, he played outstandingly well.
Hassan's father told him, "If you study well and pass the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination, I will enroll you in a big school in Kandy. If you go there and showcase your talent, you can achieve your goal of becoming a cricketer." Although Hassan was happy about this, his heart did not allow him to leave his mother. A few months later, Hassan sat for the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination, and the results were released. Despite studying well, Hassan did not pass the scholarship examination. Many family members said that he had "deliberately failed because he did not want to go, since his father had said he would enroll him in a big school in Kandy if he passed the exam."
Hassan's father divided his shop into two sections, converting one part into a retail store (grocery/general store). He continued his medical practice in the other part. Since the shop business developed well, he gave up the medical profession and converted the entire shop into a large retail store. There, he saw great progress. Hassan's mother managed the shop work much better than Hassan's father. Furthermore, Hassan's father also received the post of Muslim Marriage Registrar. He performed that role excellently as well. Through the service he rendered to everyone, including the villagers, he achieved a very high status in society.
Mr. Mano Ganesan, a Member of Parliament, claimed that the back section of the shop, which Hassan's father had purchased and registered in Yatiyanthota, belonged to his (Mano Ganesan's) father. Mr. Mano Ganesan filed a lawsuit against Hassan's father and won the case in the year 2011. He immediately told everyone to completely vacate the shop overnight. "Where to go, what to do" was a huge problem for Hassan's father. Hassan and his mother strongly emphasized, "Let's go to Kurunegoda."
Hassan's father's family members told him to rent a shop in Yatiyanthota and stay in Kallumalaiwatta. Hassan's mother was completely against this. Eventually, they all took all the goods from the shop, left their hometown Yatiyanthota, and went towards Hassan's mother's village, Kurunegoda. Later, Hassan's father rented a shop in Kottiyakumbura, a main town near Kurunegala. Within a few months, he rented a house there as well, and subsequently, they all moved there.
After going to Kurunegoda, Nasir Hassan befriended Fasal, Thalal, Waleed, Azeez, Ansif, and Umair. Playing carrom was Nasir Hassan's hobby. Nasir Hassan was praised by everyone as the 'King' of carrom. He chose Faisal as his partner and was accustomed to playing carrom constantly. The two achieved many continuous victories in carrom, often saying, "Someone needs to be born to defeat us two."
Time passed playing games involving many people, such as cricket and running/hiding games like "catch-and-run." Furthermore, Nasir Hassan found special joy in going to the stream with 'Waleed' to catch fish and raise them. When Hassan called everyone to play cricket, even breaking his wicket was a very difficult task for everyone. Every six he hit went straight onto the main road. There were even instances where the other players, frustrated, stopped the game midway and left. Hassan introduced a new game by collecting picture cards of cricketers. Everyone participated with great enthusiasm in this game, which resembled the card box game.
From Grade 1 to Grade 7, Nasir Hassan studied at Karagoda Muslim Maha Vidyalaya in his hometown of Yatiyanthota. Afterwards, he continued his education from Grade 7 onwards at Al-Aqeel Muslim Maha Vidyalaya in Kottiyakumbura, near his mother's hometown of Kurunegala.
During his school life, Nasir Hassan focused heavily on his education. In every term examination held at school, he obtained excellent marks in all subjects. Forgetting his goal of "becoming a cricketer," he made "becoming a teacher in the future" his firm target. All the teachers had a good opinion of and trust in Hassan. Focusing further on his education, Hassan achieved excellent marks even in all the examinations held at school.
He was not only interested in education but also had a great interest in acting. His performance of pretending to faint and suddenly fall to the ground in various places at school frightened many people, including the teachers. Hassan possessed excellent acting ability. Hassan was a huge fan of Sivakarthikeyan. Hassan would recite all the movie dialogues from the films he starred in to everyone, using his own voice. A dream arose in Hassan's mind that "he too should become an actor like him." Knowing that "it would not happen," Nasir Hassan gave up that aspiration as well.
Despite his talents, he did not participate in any dramatic events at school. However, Nasir Hassan stood out as a hero among all the students at school. In the annual school sports meet, he participated in running races and long jump competitions and won first place. Furthermore, excelling in batting in cricket, he astonished everyone by bowling "doosra" and "carrom" balls even when bowling. Nasir Hassan, who spent his school life with pride, appeared like a star in everyone's eyes.
When he was studying in Grade 10, Hassan became fond of a girl. However, he never spoke a single word to her or associated with her. Due to a teenage blunder (age defect) that occurred to him at that age, he wrote poems including her name, based on the thoughts that arose in his mind, and published them on social media. Because of this, he faced many problems. Her family even tried to prevent him from sitting for the Ordinary Level (O/L) examination. Because of Hassan's father's reputation and the service he had rendered to the villagers, her family did not harm Hassan.
The Islam subject teacher at the school had deep affection, love, and trust for Hassan. Hassan also had great devotion towards her. Hassan considered her and remembered her as his second mother. Hassan never hid anything from her. She provided Hassan with great support. Every time problems arose against Hassan, she was a great comfort to him.
The date for the Ordinary Level examination was also approaching. Hassan studied well for the exam. The day for the Ordinary Level examination arrived. Hassan wrote the exam well, passed with excellent results, and surprised everyone.
When he was at home for the holiday after finishing the O/L examination, one day, while Hassan was fast asleep, a young woman like a goddess came into his dream. A memory came to him that when Hassan was studying in Grade 7 at Karagoda Muslim Maha Vidyalaya in his hometown of Yatiyanthota, that young woman was studying in Grade 6. Hassan did not pay much attention to it.
One day, while Hassan was visiting his 'Umma's' (grandmother's) house in Kurunegala, his elder aunt asked him, "Can you climb the Bilinchi (Averrhoa bilimbi) tree and pluck some bilinchi?" Hassan said, "Yes," and climbed the bilinchi tree. While plucking the bilinchi, as he was about to place his foot on a branch, the branch broke, and he fell to the ground. Due to the shock of the fall, he lost consciousness. When everyone around ran up, brought water, wiped his face, and lifted him, he regained consciousness within a few minutes. Even in that moment of regaining consciousness, the same young woman he saw in his dream came to his memory.
Hassan was then taken to Karawanella Hospital. The doctor said, "Hassan has no harm," and after spending that night in the hospital, Hassan went home the next day. From the day he returned home, the single thought and interest that spread in his mind was, "Who is the young woman I saw in the dream? I must find her." The next morning, Hassan set off for his hometown of Yatiyanthota to find his friend named 'Sayed'.
Hassan told Sayed everything that happened and asked Sayed to tell him the names of the girls in his class. Accordingly, Sayed told Hassan the names of the girls in his class. Hassan thought about everyone whose name was mentioned. Hassan thought of one young woman and decided, "If the names Sayed mentioned are correct, it must be her." The desire to see her in person, even once, arose in him.
He inquired about her from both Jesli and Jassim and tried to see her in person. However, there was no possibility of seeing her. Hassan then let go of the thought, deciding not to confuse his mind over it. A few days later, Hassan became very fond of that young woman's name. Hassan wished that "the child he would have in the future should be named after her."
Hassan's mother told Hassan about all the suffering she endured from her husband's family from the day she first married Hassan's father and moved into the Kallumalai house in Yatiyanthota. Hearing all of it, Hassan became severely angry with his aunt (Mami) who lived in the Kallumalai house.
Since moving to Kottiyakumbura, he was concerned about the frequent necessity to change rented houses. Thinking, "This situation is because we don't have a house of our own," he told his parents that "it would be right to build the upper floor of the Kallumalai house in the hometown of Yatiyanthota and move there." However, Hassan's mother was not very keen on it. Hassan said that "the Kallumalai house, which belongs to the father, should be given only to his sister (the aunt)."
Once, Hassan, in his anger towards his aunt (Mami), said: "When my mother married my father and moved into the Kallumalai house, she was not allowed to live peacefully there; how much money has my father spent on that house for a long time, we cannot give the house just to one person; even the elder aunt is living in great difficulty; we also need a share of the father's property; we can't keep moving between rented houses like this forever; we will put the Kallumalai house up for sale; sell it, and divide the property among everyone." Hassan fought, demanding a share of the property.
The Kallumalai house, which was initially a hut, was entirely rebuilt by Hassan's uncle himself, turning it into a mansion. It was said that only the foundation was laid by Hassan's father. That house, with all its facilities, was currently worth approximately two crore rupees (20 million LKR). Hassan's uncle sincerely stated, "If the property is sold, divide the shares among the other four people; I do not need any share of it."
The Kallumalai house could not be sold until the lawsuit filed by Hassan's grandfather against some people in the vicinity who had encroached upon and built houses on certain parts of the Kallumalai land was concluded.
The amount of money Hassan's father spent on the land lawsuit was more than the money Hassan's uncle spent to build the house. That lawsuit became a major obstacle to what Hassan hoped for.
When Hassan went to Al-Aqeel Muslim Maha Vidyalaya in Kottiyakumbura to pursue his Advanced Level studies, the Islam subject teacher, who had great trust and affection for Hassan, asked him: "Don't hide anything in your heart from me; tell me with confidence; if there are things you can't tell, I will give you a diary; write it down in that, at least," she requested from Hassan.
Hasan did not show interest in any of it. Hasan considered the teacher as another mother to him. He had great love, affection, and trust for her. Therefore, Hasan sent the teacher a video he had edited, using certain scenes from the movie 'Rajini Murugan', starring Sivakarthikeyan, to represent all the desires and dreams he had in his heart.
It was February 14th. Hasan came home after school. After a while, a call came from the school. The principal told his mother not to send Hasan to school tomorrow and asked his father to come to the school tomorrow. The next day, Hasan's father went to the school. The principal showed Hasan's father everything, including Hasan's edited video, and Hasan was expelled from the school. When Hasan's father returned home in the evening, he told his mother, "From now on, the son can't go to school, his school life is over." Hearing this, the mother immediately fell to the ground and cried, thinking about her son's future. The mother's dream was, "Despite all the hardships, the son should study and reach a good place."
To find out what happened, Hasan went to the house of the Islam teacher, who lived nearby. The door was open. Even though Hasan called out Salaam, no one came. Finally, her husband came and told Hasan to leave the house, scolding him and sending him away. This caused Hasan great emotional pain. Hasan thought the teacher had betrayed his trust. One day, when Hasan met the teacher on the road and told her, "You did a great betrayal to me," she replied, "I didn't do such a betrayal, I didn't send anything to the principal; someone must have sent the things you posted on social media to the principal." Hasan never accurately found out what had happened.
Hasan felt that the teacher misunderstood him and despised him. Whenever Hasan looked at the teacher's house from a distance, seeing Hasan watching, they even closed the doors and windows of the house. All this brought great distress to Hasan's heart. Due to the affection Hasan had for the teacher, he couldn't even hate them. Nevertheless, Hasan distanced himself from them.
Hasan's father was willing to admit Hasan to another large school for his Advanced Level studies. He tried to get him admitted to Sulaimaniya College in Kannathota, nearby. "I can't, I don't need to go anywhere, I'll write the Advanced Level exam privately from home," Hasan said. But his parents did not agree to that. They told Hasan, "You must definitely go to a school somewhere." His father told him to go to Karagoda Muslim Maha Vidyalaya in his own village, Yatiyanthota, where he had studied before. Hasan finally agreed to it and went to Karagoda Muslim Maha Vidyalaya in his village to pursue his Advanced Level education.
The desire to see the young woman who had come into his dream, even once, arose in Hasan's mind. Hasan thought, "I will be able to see her when the students who sat for the 2016 Ordinary Level exam come to school at the end of March 2017, after receiving their results." Hasan waited for that day. That day also came. All the students who sat for the 2016 Ordinary Level exam came to the school. On that day, Hasan saw the girl who came into his dream with his own eyes. His heart told him that it was her, based on the features of her face. She looked very beautiful to Hasan's eyes. Hasan wished, "She should come to my school for Advanced Level studies." Just as Hasan wished, she too came to his school for Advanced Level studies.
The moment she arrived at the school, a Junior Parliamentary election was held at the school. In it, Hasan contested as a candidate named Nasir Hasan. Hasan spoke to her for the first time, asking her to vote for him in the election. He also asked all the other students to vote for him. Since Hasan was on good terms with all the students in the school, he won the election by securing everyone's votes and became the Prime Minister (Head) of the Junior Parliament of Karagoda Muslim Maha Vidyalaya.
He also became the Head Prefect at the same time. Thinking, "This is our village, our school, here we are the 'Kettu' (powerful ones)," Hasan's school life became 'Kettu' (powerful) beyond his expectations.
Every time Hasan saw the girl who came into his dream, whose identity was unknown, his heart felt happy. Hasan talked and associated with her. In addition, he inquired about her from the students at the school. No one had anything good to say about her. Everyone spoke differently. They said, "She has relationships with many men, her past actions are messy, and now she is in love with her big mother's (aunt's) son." Hasan was very sad to hear what the students said about her. But Hasan didn't care about any of that and treated her as a human being, talking and associating with her.
Since Hasan needed notes for his Advanced Level subjects, he asked her for them. She gave him the notebooks she had. Hasan also needed notes for other subjects. When he asked her about that too, she said, "They are at home." When he asked her, "Can you bring them tomorrow when you come to school?" she immediately gave up her schoolwork, went to her house near the school, brought all the notes, and gave them to Hasan. Because of her action and her character, Hasan developed a good attitude toward her. Hasan prayed to God, "Her life should be good." Hasan's heart told him, "Now, no matter what anyone says about her, in my view, she is a good girl." Hasan's heart said, "If a man loves a woman this much, it may not be only because of the love for that woman, but it could also be a pure affection without any mixture."
Hasan received information through a chat that the son of her big mother, whom she loved, learned about her and said, "He doesn't want her," causing her to cut her hand. As soon as he heard this, Hasan's heart felt sad. Thinking, "I must change her life, her life must be good," Hasan wrote a story about her, without mentioning her name, based on what he had learned about her, and gave it to her.
Hasan wrote in the story, 'A father had two daughters; both daughters looked like beautiful fairies; the father's dream was to educate both daughters well, marry them off to a good place, and see them live happily; the elder daughter fell in love with a boy, insisted, "I want him," married him, and broke the father's dream; now the father's dream is about the second daughter; she also did not tell the truth to the father; she not only loved many people but her past actions were messy; currently, she loves her big mother's son; no one thought, "The life of such a girl should be changed"; Hasan, the hero of this story, thought so.' He added good advice on 'how a girl should behave' to the story and gave it to her to read.
"You wrote it, it is very well written, it's a good thing you didn't put my name in the story," she told Hasan. Hasan had a strong affection for her. Talking to her brought great joy to his heart. Hasan wrote a fictional story, based on the humiliations he experienced in his life, and gave it to her. After reading it, she told Hasan, "It's very good." When Hasan asked her for the story back, she told Hasan, "I need to show the story to someone or others," and she didn't even give the story back to Hasan. Every time she saw Hasan at school, she thought, "Why did that girl reject this boy?"
Days passed very quickly, and the days for Hasan's Advanced Level examination also approached. With that, Hasan's school life ended. On the last day, with great sadness, Hasan went to her and said, "Goodbye." In response, she told Hasan, "Write the exam well." In Hasan's school life, she held an indelible place in his heart as the only girl he talked to and associated with, and the only girl he dearly loved. With tears and a good reputation, Hasan bid farewell to Karagoda Muslim Maha Vidyalaya. With that, his entire school life ended.
When Hasan was at home after finishing his Advanced Level exam, the memory of the girl he dearly loved constantly came and went. Hasan felt a sense of missing her. When he recalled everything about seeking her out and talking to her at school, his eyes filled with tears. This caused him great sadness. Within a few months, Hasan's Advanced Level exam results were released. Hasan passed Islam and History subjects well, but did not pass the Tamil subject. Later, Hasan decided to write the Advanced Level exam a second time. The desire to go back to school and study also arose in him.
Then Hasan went to the school and told the principal that he planned to apply for the Advanced Level exam a second time and wished to come back to the school to study. In response, the principal told Hasan to apply privately. Hasan told the principal, "If I write the exam through the school and get a good result, that result is for the school; therefore, I should apply through the school, write the exam, and give the school a good result." The principal agreed to let Hasan apply for the exam through the school but told him to go to private classes to study.
Hasan told the principal, "I don't want to go to private classes anywhere, I prefer to study with the students writing the Advanced Level exam at the school itself." The principal did not agree to this at all. "How can I put you with them; there are 7 female students in that class, and you are a year older than them; how can I include you with them?" the principal asked Hasan. In response, Hasan told the principal, "There are only two male students in that class." The principal's decision was a firm "Absolutely not." Hasan considered everything the principal said as a great humiliation. Yet, Hasan remained patient and left the place.
As all the humiliations he endured came to Hasan's memory, his heart wished to take revenge on the principal. Hasan told one of the teachers about the incident that happened. That teacher also told Hasan about a few injustices she had suffered from the principal. Not only that, even when Hasan had previously inquired about the girl he dearly loved, students had told Hasan, "The principal is one reason for the bad name she got." Recalling all that, and for all the injustices, Hasan raised his voice against the principal and sent a voice note via WhatsApp to all the parents and old students in Yatiyanthota and Karagoda. It became famous (trended) across the entire village. He had said, "This is our village; our school," and that he could not let the principal off lightly for everything that had happened.
The next day, a discussion was held at the school regarding this matter. All the teachers at the school spoke in support of the principal. Everyone said, "The principal is good, he has no fault." Everyone told Hasan to apply for the Advanced Level exam through the school and go to private classes to study. Hasan finally agreed to this too.
The question of "Who is that girl" based on Hasan's statement that "A girl got a bad name because of the principal" caused great confusion to everyone at the discussion. Evidence was also requested from Hasan for that. Hasan was not willing at all to name her, talk about it, and embarrass her. When everyone kept asking Hasan, "Who is that girl," Hasan did not reveal her identity until the end. "Everyone did not let go of Hasan until he said who she was." Everyone told Hasan, "It's a human issue (an emotional issue) for the principal." They told Hasan to stand in front of a video and say, "Everything I said is false; the principal is a good person; I spoke this way after hearing the story from the school students; I apologize to the principal, everyone forgive me." For the sake of "Her name shouldn't be ruined," Hasan finally spoke in the same manner and left the place.
They sent the video where Hasan apologized to everyone in the village via WhatsApp. Hasan, who saw the video, considered it a great humiliation. Hasan sent a voice note via WhatsApp to everyone saying, "None of what I said is false; everything is true; everyone ganged up and made me say that." The principal, upon hearing it, informed the police and Hasan received a message that he was summoned to the Karagoda Police.
Then Hasan and his mother went to Yatiyanthota, called Hasan's grandfather, and went to the entrance gate of the Karagoda Police station. At that place, the big father (mother's or father's elder brother) of the girl Hasan dearly loved arrived. He asked Hasan and his mother, "Why are you here?" In response, Hasan told him, "It's about the action I took against the principal." He told Hasan's mother, "Your son didn't do a big mistake; your son is a boy from our village; I will ensure that no problem comes to your son; take your son from this place before he gets corrupted and go home; tell Hasan's father what I said." All the words he said were a relief to Hasan's heart. Then Hasan and his mother left the place and went home.
Later that afternoon, a call came from the police, summoning Hasan to the police station. Then Hasan, his mother, and grandfather went to the police station. The police officers investigated Hasan about the incident. Hasan told the police officers, "I did such a mistake because of the desire I had in my heart to go back to school to study Advanced Level again, and because the principal rejected it." The police officers told the principal, "Hasan's mistake is not one that warrants a big punishment; you can ask for compensation." The principal also forgave Hasan without asking for any compensation, and Hasan wrote a letter to the police officers, signed it, stating "I will not commit such a mistake again in the future," and left the place.
Hasan pursued a three-year degree from home. He thought, after finishing the degree, he should try to get a teaching profession with it. But for that, he had to pay three hundred thousand rupees in total. He asked a few rich relatives on his mother's side. No one helped him. None of the relatives were willing for Hasan to pursue a degree. They were in a manner of scolding it. Hasan clearly understood that they were scolding out of jealousy. He thought, "So, I won't ask anyone for help, and I won't stop without finishing the degree."
After a few months, Hasan's father received a message from the school principal. The principal told Hasan's father to send Hasan to the school to collect his Advanced Level examination admission card. Hasan, taking his mother with him, went to the school. After collecting the admission card, Hasan apologized once again to the principal for the mistake he had made. The principal also forgave Hasan and spoke to him kindly. Furthermore, the teachers at the school also forgot the mistake Hasan had made and spoke to him very kindly. This brought a little joy to Hasan's heart.
After leaving the school, Hasan told his mother, "Do you remember the beautiful fair-skinned girl in the Advanced Level class? She is the girl who came into my dream, the girl I dearly loved." In response, his mother said with a little anger, "I thought it might be her; even though she is fair, she is not that beautiful," to Hasan. In response, Hasan said, "Go, Umma (Mother). You can't even see beauty; she is beautiful to me."
After collecting the admission card, Hasan studied very well for the Advanced Level exam. Hasan thought, "I must get a good result in the exam and pass well." Hasan wrote the Advanced Level exam through the school itself. In a few months, Hasan's Advanced Level exam results were also released. Hasan passed all three subjects well. Just as he had hoped, he gave the school a good result. Everyone in the village told Hasan, "The battle is won," and congratulated him. All that brought great joy to Hasan's heart.
Although Hasan was happy that no one in the village or school despised him for the mistake he had made with the principal, that very thing caused the girl he dearly loved to despise him. From then on, she also stopped talking to Hasan. This brought great sadness to Hasan's heart. Hasan had planned, "Since she is a student who studies well, I should choose the same field she is going into and move forward with her." But every time Hasan thought, "She will not talk to me anymore," his heart felt very sad.
To make her understand him and to let her know how she came into his life, Hasan wrote his whole life as a story. He included all the true incidents in the story, including the matter of Hasan's grandfather coming to Sri Lanka from India in the late 20th century, and the family story. Along with that, Hasan also included the matter of her coming into his dream and all the surprising incidents of seeing the girl he saw in his dream with his own eyes. He wrote the story by changing the main places in the story, Yatiyanthota town to Chennai and Kotiyakumbura town to Coimbatore. Furthermore, the locations in the story were set using the names of cities in India. In the story written by Hasan, he used the actual names of the characters. He made no change there.
In the story, Hasan depicted himself as the hero and the girl he dearly loved as the heroine. While Hasan was writing the story, he thought, "It would be good if the hero and heroine of the story unite." It was then he realized that Hasan truly loved her in his heart, not just for the story. Hasan felt it right at the moment he was writing everything that happened as a story: "The initial urge to see her; the joy that came to his heart every time he saw her; the thought of changing her life; his eyes filling with tears every time he constantly thought about her, all this was because of the pure love for her." After that, Hasan loved her more than anything. He wished to live with her. Hasan wished to formally engage and marry her without starting and ruining a dating relationship.
He never got an opportunity to even tell her what he wished for. Finally, Hasan included the matter he wished for in the story too. He also wrote in the story, "Hasan waited for her decision." He prepared his life story, which was written in 99 paragraphs, as a beautiful gift. He gave it to her cousin to deliver it to her, asking him to give it to her. Presenting his life story to her was Hasan's first attempt to get her consent.
Hasan waited for a while for her decision. But he did not receive any answer from anywhere. Knowing that "She uses her brother's phone," Hasan called her brother's phone number. Her mother answered the call. As soon as Hasan said, "This is Nasir Hasan speaking," she told Hasan with a little anger, "Stop sending all kinds of gifts to my daughter." Then Hasan told her mother the matter he wished for. In response, she told Hasan, "Your father is a Marriage Registrar, isn't he? If you want, tell your father and marry someone else." Because of this, only humiliation remained for Hasan.
One day, while Hasan was in Yatiyanthota, he went to Karagoda. Then Hasan saw her after a very long time. He followed her. Hasan passed her and slowly turned back. Saying "Forgive me" to her, he went to the road near her house. Hasan went there only to see her when she came. Every time Hasan saw her, his heart felt a strange happiness. He didn't know why. A happiness that didn't come when seeing anyone or anything else came to Hasan when he saw her. She looked more and more beautiful to Hasan's eyes. Hasan thought, "She probably hasn't read my story." He gave his life story, titled 'History Notes', to her big father's son, who was at the three-wheeler park, to give to her.
One day, when going to Karagoda, Hasan saw her father in a three-wheeler. Hasan went and spoke with him. He had great respect and affection for Hasan's father. Because of that, he spoke to Hasan very kindly. Hasan told him the truth: "I like your daughter; I wished to talk formally and finalize it; I didn't get a chance to tell your daughter; that's what I wrote in my story, and that's the story I sent to your daughter." In response, he neither said anything to Hasan nor got angry with Hasan. Then Hasan told him, "I didn't do anything wrong, it was formal." He told Hasan, "You are someone who studied well, be careful and thoughtful in your behavior." Then Hasan left the place. Hasan thought, "If I get her consent, what I wished for will happen."
That day was February 3, 2020. An inter-house sports meet was held at Karagoda Muslim School, and that day was the final day. Nasir Hasan went to the school that day. He saw the girl he dearly loved. Hasan went to the house she was in. Seeing Hasan, she told Hasan very strictly, "Why are you always following me, don't follow me after this. Also, don't send me all kinds of things through everyone." Her saying that was a great sadness to Hasan's heart.
At the end of the inter-house sports meet, a running race was held for old students. Hasan participated in that race. All those who participated with Hasan were strong runners. Yet, Hasan's self-confidence told him, "I will win this." Just like that, Hasan came first in the running race and won. Afterwards, Hasan received the gold medal and the prize. Hasan took it and, happily, went near her. Seeing Hasan coming, she moved away from the place out of anger toward him. That also caused great sadness to Hasan's heart. His eyes also filled with tears. Hasan told her friend who was there, "I wrote the story with great difficulty, tell her to read it," and left the place.
The confusion of "Whether she read the story or not" was in Hasan's heart. For her to read the story, Hasan posted the story on Facebook, visible only to her family. Hasan did this with the belief that "Even if she finds out about it, she will read the story to see what is written in it." Later, Hasan received a phone call from her sister. She scolded Hasan and told him to delete the story posted on Facebook.
Hasan thought, "It's not good to delete it" because of the way she spoke. He disconnected the phone call, saying, "I can't delete it." When the phone call came again and again, he answered it. Her mother spoke on that call. She requested Hasan to delete the story. In response, Hasan told her mother, "The very love I had for your daughter is in that story, I can't delete it." In response, she started crying, asking, "Please delete the story." Hasan felt sad. Hasan asked her mother, "Okay, I will delete it; I need to talk to your daughter a little; can you give the phone?" She said, "Okay," and gave the phone to her daughter.
When Hasan asked her, "Did you read the story?" she told Hasan, "I read it." Hasan asked her, "What do you say?" In response, she replied, "What is there to say?" Hasan understood from her answer that "She does not like Hasan." Hasan asked her, "Will you talk to me?" In response, she told Hasan, "If I see you anywhere, I'll only say Salaam; I won't talk." Then, Hasan said, "Okay; I will delete the story," and disconnected the call. Afterwards, Hasan also deleted the story posted on Facebook.
No matter how hard Hasan tried, she did not like Hasan. She did not even understand the pure love Hasan had for her. She also did not like Hasan. Hasan's heart told him, "If she reads my story with interest someday, she will like me." Thinking, "I shouldn't lose her, the girl I dearly loved must be mine," Hasan posted the story on Facebook again. Seeing this, her sister called Hasan, but Hasan did not answer it.
That day was February 5th. That night, the father, mother, sister, and brother of the girl Hasan dearly loved all came to his house looking for him. Hasan's father was not at home at that time. He had gone to Colombo to buy goods. Her father told Hasan's mother everything that had happened. After talking about all of Hasan's "Kuttu" (troubles), he suddenly grabbed Hasan by the neck and raised his hand to hit him. At that time, Hasan's mother cried.
He let go of Hasan without hitting him and said, "If I look at his face, I don't even feel like hitting him." He told Hasan's mother, "I came here to advise your son and tell him to stop everything." He further said, "From the beginning, I had good affection (Muhabbath) with Hasan's father; because of that reason and his respect, I haven't said anything to your son until now." Hearing all that, Hasan left the spot, went to the room, and leaned on the mattress.
Her sister, who came to that place, cried, saying, "Why are you doing this, darling?" At that moment, Hasan forgot all his anger towards her and wiped her tears with his fingers. Her sister said, "He is not good or bad, he has good talent, they give five rupees per letter to those who write stories there in Jaffna. The talent he has should have been used in such a way." Finally, her family advised Hasan and left the place. After they left, Hasan posted the "Intermission" post on Facebook.
No matter how hard Nasir Hasan tried, he could not forget her. All her memories would come, bringing him to tears. Hasan's heart told him, "A girl came in a dream; that girl came to memory again; I decided to find out who she was; I started to love her name; I was able to see the girl I saw in the dream with my own eyes; I talked and associated with her; I thought of changing her life; when I recall all the love I had for her, could she be the girl written on my forehead (destined for me)?" During his school life, Hasan never talked to or associated with any other girl except her. Hasan thought, "I shouldn't lose her." The first attempt he made, writing his life as a story, ended in failure and humiliation. As a second attempt, he wrote a poem. At that time, he wrote a realistic poem, incorporating his current situation, his sadness, and all the distress and feelings that arose in his heart.
My Beloved!
How much sorrow I have in life.
I don't have any income in hand to even eat the things I crave.
I don't even have a decent outfit to wear. How can a boy who should be well-off live like this! That's the situation.
This isn't my permanent life either. All this suffering is only until my degree is finished!
A year and a half have passed, and another year and a half living like this at home, it makes life unbearable, doesn't it!
I can't lie to you that I'm crazy about you (literally, putting my life on you). But I can certainly say that I considered you as a life (soul).
It's not that I don't have a life without you. If I don't get you, I will live well with a girl better than you and show it.
My heart longs to live with you, the one I dearly loved, rather than living with someone else whose face I don't know. Is that wrong? My beloved!
Even though you had many faults, I talked to you without caring about any of them. But you stopped talking to me, keeping in mind the only mistake I made. That was painful for me. My beloved!
Recalling the fact that I loved one girl initially and she rejected me. You thought, "Why did she reject this boy?"
Recalling the fact that I love you now and you rejected me, I think, "Another girl shouldn't think, 'Why did she reject this boy?'" My beloved!
The girl who came in my dream! I found out who you are, didn't I! How long should I wait until you read my story and understand my love?
I will wait, but I don't know if time will wait. Read my story and understand my love quickly, my beloved!
Hasan finished writing the poem very beautifully, expressing the pure feeling of love in his heart.
He pondered what he should do to make her read the poem. He sent the poem to her family via WhatsApp. Hasan did this with the belief that "When the poem is shared and reaches her, she will surely read it."
After a few days, her family came to Hasan's house again looking for him. While the whole family was in the three-wheeler, only her father came to the doorstep of the house and knocked. The door opened. He was surprised. Hasan's father was at home at that time. He told Hasan's father the fact that "Your son has written a poem and sent it to everyone in his family."
He also told Hasan's father, "I thought everything was over after Nasir Hasan posted 'Intermission' on Facebook that day." At that time, Hasan was leaning in the room, listening to all of it. He told Hasan's father, "Tell your son to stop everything with this," and left.
After he left, Hasan's father came to the room to talk to him. He advised Hasan, saying, "Stop all these theatrics of yours right here." Hasan's heart said, "A father, being a father, has a separate respect in the village and the world; in every action I take, it is my father's respect that is harmed; enough, let's stop everything with this." He was sad about the fact that "I loved a girl as much as a man can love one, and to make her understand it, I wrote the story until my fingers ached as the first attempt, she didn't understand me, and as the final attempt, I wrote a poem based on the story and sent it; she disliked that too." The attempts Nasir Hasan made to talk to and associate with a girl for the first time in his life, have a pure love for her, and make her understand it, ended in failure and humiliation.
The humiliations he received in life constantly came and wet Hasan's eyes with tears. He thought, "I must publicize my life story; I must achieve the greatest victory through the very thing that brought me humiliation." He wished, "My life story should come as the best movie in Tamil cinema." Hasan had even mentioned in the story he wrote and sent to her that "If she doesn't read my life story and understand me, so that the suffering I endured writing the story is not wasted, I will direct that story as the best movie in Tamil cinema." It was with that intention that he wrote the characters and backgrounds of the story using the cities of India.
Nasir Hasan tried to take his life story to Tamil cinema. His first attempt was to find the real Facebook IDs of many directors and actors in Tamil cinema and add them as friends. As soon as a new film was released, he would add the director who directed it and the actors who starred in it as friends on Facebook. Nasir Hasan told his life story to some of those directors. The response from the directors was, "Take the story and come to Chennai, India."
Through one director, Hasan got the WhatsApp number of the comedian Yogi Babu, whom he dearly loved. He spoke to him via WhatsApp. He spoke to Hasan with love and humility. Nasir Hasan told Yogi Babu his dream: "I wrote my life as a story, I want to direct that story as the best film in Tamil cinema, star as the hero, and have my favorite actor, Sivakarthikeyan, produce and present the film." Yogi Babu understood Hasan's wish and dream. Yogi Babu told Nasir Hasan: "You go to Chennai and work as an assistant director under a director for six months. Then call me, I will talk to Sivakarthikeyan, take you to him, and let's successfully do what you planned."
Hasan abandoned that desire, thinking, "I don't have any facilities to go to India and stay there; if I go there, I'll have to suffer more, on top of the suffering I endure here." However, Hasan had an idea that "If another good director directs my life story as a film, and a popular actor stars in it, that film will be popular." He tried for that. Director Sasi, who directed the Tamil film 'Sixer', said he would direct Nasir Hasan's life story as the best film in Tamil cinema. Hasan thought that he couldn't make his dream come true without going to India. Although Nasir Hasan received many opportunities for his talents, his poverty was a major obstacle to his dreams.
Since Archana Ravichandran, a video jockey at Sun TV, was a friend of Nasir Hasan on Facebook, she read the poem Hasan had written and posted on Facebook. She told Hasan, "Recite your poem through a video and send it to the email address 'Ungalmedai@sunnetwork.in'; we will show it on all our Sun Network channels and reveal your talent to the world." But Hasan did not attempt that.
Hasan missed the good opportunity he received because his heart told him, "I didn't write stories or poems to show off my talents; it was just an attempt to make the girl I dearly loved understand my love; if she understands me one day and likes me, that's enough; I don't need anything else." It is noteworthy that Archana Ravichandran, who started her life as a video jockey, later became popular by starring as the villain in the 'Raja Rani 2' series on Vijay TV, in addition to participating and becoming a winner in the 'Big Boss 7' program.
Nasir Hasan's father achieved good success in his business at the rented shop named 'The Flower City'. From the beginning, he held a high position in society, and when someone needed to write an official government letter, everyone came to Hasan's father. Even if someone had a problem, they would come to him and solve that problem. He acted as a leader accepted by people of all races. Since he was a Muslim Marriage Registrar and a Justice of Peace, there was no one in the village who didn't need him. He was also a person who maintained close relations with the mosque (Palliwasala). Because of the trust people placed in him, he also managed 'Seettu' (chit fund) money and gave it to the owners on time.
Some people could not tolerate the fact that he was praised by everyone like that and seeing his success. A few Sinhalese people in the village spread a rumor about him. Hasan's father told everyone that "A few Sinhalese people came to the shop and asked for protection money from Hasan's father, and they did this because he didn't give it." When the shop he had rented in Kottiyakumbura for about ten years was suddenly requested by the shop owner, Hasan's father had to hand over the shop.
The shop in Yatiyanthota, which Mano Ganeshan had acquired, was in Hasan's father's name, so Mano Ganeshan could not sell it to anyone. Finally, Hasan's father received the deed for the shop and sold it to someone. With the money he received, he gave twenty-five lakhs to the landlord in Kottiyakumbura and registered the house in his name for fifty lakhs. For the remaining amount, he mortgaged the house to the bank, took twenty-five lakhs from the bank, and gave it to the owner. He had to pay the bank loan monthly for that. He did not tell Hasan or his mother anything that happened in the family. From the day they learned about it, Hasan and his mother were always seen blaming him. Finally, Hasan's father decided to sell the house. The person who gave the house also said he would buy the house back.
Hasan's father had not saved any house property, jewellery, or anything from the money he earned. All he saved was the goods worth millions in the shop. No one knew "Where to take all those things." Even in that difficult moment, the family members of Hasan's mother did not provide any help. Everyone abandoned them. They blamed Hasan's father, listened to the talk of a few Sinhalese people and the villagers, and despised him. Because of the humiliation Hasan's father suffered, he did not want to stay in that village.
He greatly wished to go to Deltota village in Kandy, where his sister's daughter was married. Also, since Hasan's father's mother-in-law and uncle were all in Deltota, he thought of going there. But Hasan did not want to go there. He thought, "If we return to our village Yatiyanthota itself and stay at the 'Kallumale' house, we won't have house rent." Hasan tried to find a rented shop there. Since Yatiyanthota town was urbanized and developed, the monthly rent for one shop was one lakh rupees. He did not get a shop for a low price. Hasan's mother-in-law said, "Go to Deltota itself; if the Kallumale house is also sold quickly, we can buy our own house for a low price in Deltota with the money we receive; we are also coming there." Hasan did not think whether his mother-in-law's words were true or false. Finally, even though Hasan was unwilling, he decided to go to Deltota itself.
Hasan's cousins in Deltota found a rented shop. A large lorry was not enough to load all the goods from the previous shop. That large lorry went to transport goods to Deltota 3 times. In addition, it carried the household goods once. In 2021, all the family members gave up the rented shop and house in Kottiyakumbura, took a rented house and shop in Deltota, and moved there.
After moving to Deltota, a cool region in the central hills, Hasan's father opened the shop under the name "The Lovers City" and started the business. After moving from Kegalle District to Kandy District, he also quit his job as a Marriage Registrar. The business was also at a somewhat good level. Many people asked, "It's difficult to do business and prosper in Deltota. Why did you come to this village to run a shop?" Hasan's heart said, "Where the shop goes, life goes there too. From Yatiyanthota to Kottiyakumbura in 2011, and from there to Deltota in 2021."
Most people in Kottiyakumbura accepted that it was "A conspiracy planned and executed by some people who couldn't bear Hasan's father's success." His departure from there was a great inconvenience to many people. Since some of his needs arose for some people, they even came to Deltota looking for him. Even his mother's family members finally understood him.
No matter what injustice anyone did to Hasan's father, he was not angry with anyone. He never acted harshly towards anyone in life. He spoke well even with those who were cruel to him. Hasan also had that quality, and he finally understood that it came from his father.
Due to the increase in expenses, such as shop rent, house rent, and household expenses from the money Hasan's father earned from the shop, there was no progress in the business. The goods in the shop gradually ran out, but no more goods were bought for the shop. As time went on, finally only half of the goods were left.
Due to family difficulties, all the cousins were pressuring Hasan to go abroad. Hasan was not at all willing to go abroad. He studied for his degree from home. Hasan's goal was to go to university and become a teacher. He was waiting until the time to apply to the university came.
Everyone strongly pressured Hasan to go abroad. Thinking about what to do to escape from it, Hasan took over the responsibility of the shop run by his father and managed it. Later, Hasan developed an interest in the business. He became the 'Boss' of The Lover City. It was then that Hasan began to feel a sense of responsibility. He thought, "I must prosper in life through the business and show it."
He wanted to improve the shop, buy all the goods that people requested, and make the shop famous among the people. For that, Hasan needed money. He asked his mother's family members, but no one gave him any. Finally, Hasan's Umma (Mother), saying, "Don't ask anyone," sold one of her gold bangles and gave Hasan one lakh. Hasan took that one lakh and went to Colombo with his father. He bought cosmetics, including night cream, and the business he started became successful day by day.
Day by day, as Hasan sold the cosmetics he bought, he would buy them again, achieving success in it. Just as he had hoped, he made the shop named 'The Lovers City' in Teldeniya famous among the people of Deltota. Accordingly, Hasan's father also handed over the responsibility of running the shop entirely to Hasan and completely withdrew. While he was at home, Hasan ran the shop alone, covered all the expenses, and kept the family going. He also bought a mobile phone worth twenty thousand rupees for one lakh. He also bought everything he needed. His life also became beautiful. He also dearly loved Teldeniya village. He decided, "I must stay here from now on; I can't go anywhere else from this Deltota village."
The house in Kottiyakumbura was also registered in the name of the house owner's brother, who said he would pay the bank loan. The amount Hasan's father received after deducting the bank loan and all the interest was only about ten lakh rupees. Since he had to pay his father's business loan from that, only about eight lakhs remained. Hasan and his mother asked for that money. At that time, there was a fifteen-perch land in Teldeniya for six lakh rupees. Although his father said, "Don't buy it," he thought he should buy it for fear that "The money will be spent." Finally, although the father said to register the land in his name, Hasan registered it in his mother's name. Many people said, "That land is not worth much, it was a land that couldn't even be sold for three lakhs." Hasan's father always blamed his mother and son. Hasan didn't care about any of that, and Hasan remained confident that "The land will gain value in the future."
A few months later, the day to apply for the National College of Education (NCOE) arrived. Hasan applied for subjects such as Islam, Social Science, and Primary Education. Hasan waited with the confidence that “I will surely receive a letter for the university interview.” Hasan also had many dreams in his mind. Hasan thought, "I must develop the shop business until I go to university, pay for my degree studies, write the exam, and finish that too," and so on.
It was only after Hasan went to Deltota that he spoke with his father's cousins. He had not had any prior connection with them. Hasan got to know a maternal aunt (Loku Amma) with the pet name "Poonona". Hasan’s mother had told him about her when he was a child. Until he went to Teldeniya, Hasan had no conversation with Poonona Loku Amma. He thought they were all distant relatives.
That Loku Amma was the daughter of Hasan's father's mother-in-law. To Hasan's father, she was a Maini (cousin/brother-in-law's wife). Hasan's mother had told him that the two of them were former lovers and that Hasan's father was planning to marry her. She behaved with great love and affection towards Hasan. After going to Teldeniya, the greatest asset Hasan received was the affection of Poonona Loku Amma. Hasan loved their good qualities and their kind hearts that wished no harm to anyone. Hasan also behaved with great love and affection towards Loku Amma.
One day, during the Eid festival, she gave Hasan five hundred rupees as a festival gift. When he asked her, "Why me?", Loku Amma replied, "You are also like my child." Although the amount of money she gave was not large, those words she spoke were valuable to Hasan. When Hasan asked Loku Amma about her life story, she told him everything.
She told Hasan that his father had loved her and was going to marry her, but because his father's mother and sister were against it, it did not happen, and she faced a huge disappointment. Hasan was greatly saddened when he heard her story, where she said that out of the hatred she felt at that time, she dedicated her entire life.
Hasan understood Loku Amma very well and showed her excessive affection. Hasan thought, "I should never cause Loku Amma any trouble; I must also take good care of her." Hasan also told them about himself and his life story. When Loku Amma heard Hasan's story, she understood him even better. She placed great trust in Hasan. Hasan told Loku Amma everything without hiding anything.
Every time he spoke with Loku Amma, his heart felt solace and happiness. Hasan loved this newly acquainted relative, whom he did not know before, more than all his other relatives. The way he showed affection to his mother, even more, Hasan considered Loku Amma his mother and showed her excessive affection. Loku Amma told Hasan, "The place I keep my son in my heart, that is the same place I keep you too." The truth and trust he expected from a friend, and the love and understanding he expected from a girl, Hasan received from Poonona Loku Amma. The affection Hasan placed in Loku Amma made him think, "Among the relatives, the relationship with 'Poonona Loku Amma' is enough; no other relationship is needed."
One day, Poonona Loku Amma, whom Hasan loved dearly, caught a severe fever and suffered so much that she could not even get up. Loku Amma told Hasan, "I have never had such an illness before in my life." At that time, Hasan took good care of Loku Amma as much as he could. Thinking, "The fever she has should pass to me, and she should be completely cured," Hasan kissed her forehead. In the same way, her fever got better, and the fever passed to Hasan. However, Hasan did not suffer much from the fever. Hasan also recovered within a few days.
Hasan received news that the letters for the NCOE interview had been issued. Every day, Hasan waited for the postman. When he went to the post office and inquired, they said, "No letter has arrived." Hasan’s mother had a dream about 'receiving and reading a letter,' and she told Hasan about it. That very day, after waiting for a very long time, Nasir Hasan received the letter for the NCOE interview. Seeing it, his mother cried with joy. Hasan was very happy from the day he received the letter. The letter stated that he should attend the interview at the Batticaloa National College of Education for the Primary Education subject.
Around the time he had to go for the NCOE interview, the two-year period for the shop that Nasir Hasan was renting, named 'The Lovers City', also ended. He returned the shop to the owner, kept all the shop items at home, and went for the interview at the Batticaloa National College of Education for the Primary Education subject and returned.
He was confident that “I will also receive a letter from the Addalaichenai National College of Education.” Just as Hasan thought, a letter was received from there too. The letter stated that he should attend the interview for the Islam subject. Afterwards, Hasan went for the interview at the Addalaichenai National College of Education for the Islam subject and returned. From the day he returned, Hasan gained great confidence that "I will surely be selected for the Addalaichenai National College of Education." To silence the mouths of his cousins, Nasir Hasan told all of them that he had been selected for the university.
Until he was called to the university, Nasir Hasan focused on trying to sell all the shop items he had at home to other shops and collecting the money. He gave all the cosmetics to the pharmacy near the Teldeniya Mosque. One sister at the pharmacy understood Hasan's situation and took all those cosmetic items from him without him incurring a loss. Through that, Nasir Hasan received nearly two hundred thousand rupees.
In gratitude for that, Nasir Hasan went to the pharmacy until he left for the NCOE and helped with the pharmacy business without taking any salary from that sister. Nasir Hasan knew "which pills to give for what" and even sold medicines. With trust, that sister also left Hasan alone in the pharmacy, and Hasan worked faithfully and honestly for her and helped with the business.
Thinking, "If money is in hand, it will be spent unknowingly; let's do something useful," Nasir Hasan bought many essential household items with the two hundred and fifty thousand rupees he received. He also brought a backhoe machine to the land he had bought, cut sand, and focused on increasing the value of the land. Furthermore, he gradually sold the other shop items he had at home to every shop and took the money received for household expenses.
Thinking, "Social media should be used for good things; everyone should benefit from us day by day," Nasir Hasan created WhatsApp groups named 'Education Information' and posted educational information there. Mainly, he posted more information related to the National College of Education. Because of that, thousands of students who had applied for it joined the group. They were all waiting for new information from Hasan. All the information was useful to many people. Hasan also created a WhatsApp group named 'College Discussion' with the aim of clearing the doubts of everyone who had applied to the university.
Hasan told everyone in the group, "Do not talk about unnecessary things other than doubts related to the NCOE in the group; if you exceed that, you will be removed from the WhatsApp group." He removed those who violated that order from the group. Later, he came to know that there were university 'Seniors' among those he removed. They asked Hasan to add them back to the group, but Hasan did not add anyone. They said, "We'll see when you come to the university."
Some people in the group complained to the admin, Nasir Hasan, that many people were sending unnecessary messages, claiming to be 'Seniors'. Hasan said, "Screenshot the number and message of those who are unnecessarily harassing the girls in the group via message, claiming to be 'Seniors', and send it to me; strict action will be taken against them." The Seniors, angered by the removal from the group and Hasan's words, waited for Hasan to arrive at the NCOE.
The list of all those selected for the NCOE was released. With great hope, Nasir Hasan looked at the list of those selected for the Islam subject. When he looked at the names from the middle to the bottom, his name was not there. Then, he was very happy to see his name, 'Nasir Hasan', third from the top. As he had hoped, Nasir Hasan was selected for the Addalaichenai National College of Education. His happiness was as if he had won his whole life. When he told his mother, she was just as happy. The NCOE opportunity came as a victory that Hasan had achieved after facing many struggles in life and as a blessing he had received.
As soon as the list of those selected for every subject was released, Hasan immediately posted it in all his WhatsApp groups. Everyone who had applied for the NCOE and was waiting received it. All those selected for the NCOE expressed their gratitude for all of Hasan's help.
Although the list of names was released, the admission of students to the NCOE was delayed. Hasan received messages from many people saying, "They still haven't called us to the NCOE; when will they take us; we can't wait any longer; we don't even want the NCOE." Hasan comforted everyone by saying, "Everything is for the best; there must be patience; if God delays giving something, it is all for our good; wait a little."
Hasan was saddened, thinking, "After waiting at home for 4 years, delaying to take us to the NCOE, taking us to the NCOE, the teaching job will only be received after 3 years; age is also running out." Nasir Hasan made every effort to finish the 3-year university course within 2 years. In addition to that, he struggled to get everyone admitted to the NCOE very quickly. Including all that, he wrote a letter in Sinhala, sent it to the Member of Parliament of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya party, Mrs. Rohini Kumari Wijeratne, via WhatsApp. He also put her WhatsApp number and the letter in his Education Information WhatsApp group and ordered everyone to send it to her.
Everyone did as Hasan said. It is a pleasure that Mrs. Rohini Kumari Wijeratne read everything mentioned in the letter and even spoke about it all at the Parliament session held the next day. After that, the Ministry of Education tried to admit everyone to the university very quickly. Nasir Hasan helped many people by clearing up doubts related to filling the Bond Agreement that those selected for the university should take for university registration.
One female student who was in Hasan's WhatsApp group, waiting for university, was selected for 2 NCOEs in 2 subjects. She was interested in registering at the Addalaichenai National College of Education for the Islam subject. She constantly inquired of Hasan, "When will they take us to the university?" The reason she constantly inquired was that she had marriage proposals at home. After waiting and being disappointed by the thought that "They will take us to the university at the end of every month," finally, her parents told her, "Don't go to university," and started talking about marriage. It was at that very time that the time to call them to the university had arrived.
If her mother made a decision, there was no speaking against it. The student stubbornly insisted, crying, "I must go to university." Her mother's mind did not change even a little. With great sorrow that there was no chance to change it, she suffered greatly, thinking, "God has no mercy on me; I couldn't fulfill my dream of becoming a teacher." In that pain, she even burned her hand with fire, took a picture of it, sent it to Hasan, and told him all her grievances through a message. Hasan also took great pity on her and thought, "I must give her the opportunity to go to university."
Hasan spoke with her parents, claiming, "A Sir from the Addalaichenai National College of Education is speaking." Hasan spoke with the student's parents and with great effort changed the mind of her stubborn parents, saying things like, "This university opportunity is an opportunity that many people eagerly await, which many people do not get; your daughter has received it; she has been selected for 2 subjects; please do not miss this opportunity; do not be a barrier to your daughter's education and this opportunity she has received, making age an excuse; what is destined to happen will happen at the right time; furthermore, there are girls aged 25 among those selected for our university; when they finish university and leave, they will be 28; will they not have a good future then; if Allah wills, everything will happen well; have faith and send her; if she comes to university, your daughter will surely learn more good qualities and good values; everything happens on time at the university; when she leaves, she will be sent out as a teacher; your daughter's life; you must decide; I have no right to force you to do this; but don't prevent her from going."
The student's father asked Hasan, "I don't know anything exactly about this university; I will go to the school and give your number to the principal and tell him to talk to you; can you talk to the principal?" Hasan also said, "Alright" to that. After that, when the principal called and spoke to Hasan, Hasan told the principal about the documents that must be brought for university registration and about the university Bond Agreement. Hasan also requested the principal to definitely send her to the university. Afterwards, the student prepared everything, and even though the registration date for the university was the next day, she somehow came to the university at the last moment. Even she had not thought that she would get the opportunity to go to university.
Hasan was also a main reason for one female student to receive the university blessing. More than all the help Hasan did for those who joined the Education Information WhatsApp group, the help he did for that student can be called a 'qualitative incident.' Furthermore, by providing information related to the National College of Education, Nasir Hasan's name became a name that was discussed and sought after among all those selected for all the Tamil medium National Colleges of Education.
The day for the registration of those selected for the Addalaichenai National College of Education also arrived. By then, his father also did not have a job. The shop items were rotting at home, unable to be sold. Despite the family difficulties and livelihood problems, Nasir Hasan did not care about any of it. In the midst of great difficulties, Nasir Hasan thought, "I must develop in life; go to university and become a teacher, achieve my goal, and reach a good position." Completely forgetting the business, to fulfill his dream of becoming a teacher, Nasir Hasan went to the Addalaichenai National College of Education on 2023.10.13 at the age of 24.
NASIR HASAN 100% REAL LIFE STORY CHAPTER 2
At the Addalaichenai National College of Education, under a mango tree at the corner of the premises...
On that early morning, a cool, refreshing breeze that was pleasant and soothing to the mind brushed past Nasir Hasan. The sound produced by the wind was very sweet. The scenic view brought happiness to the mind and vitality to the body. Like the wind that steals the heart, his mother took all of her son's memories with her. Hasan wept, thinking about the sadness of being separated from his mother and family, and the life he was about to spend at the College of Education afterward. His mother and beloved Punonna Periyamma (Aunt/Grandmother) hugged Hasan, kissed his forehead, and then the entire family handed him over to the college and departed. Amid many hardships, Nasir Hasan's college life began.
Hasan went to the college's main hall to register his name. "The flower plants at the entrance swayed in the wind, as if inviting Hasan, saying 'Come, come.'" Hasan went into the hall and sat down. At that moment, the leader of the senior students (seniors) came and asked his name, to which he replied, "Nasir Hasan." The leader responded, “All the senior students are waiting for you.” But Hasan remained silent with courage. Subsequently, Nasir Hasan registered his name at the Addalaichenai National College of Education.
After registering at the college, Nasir Hasan went to the college dormitory. From the very first day, the ragging by the senior students began. They did not allow Hasan to live in peace. The senior students came to the dormitory, calling out his name, 'Nasir Hasan.' If they saw Hasan coming out of the dormitory, they would shout and call him, telling him to do one thing after another, and bother him. They didn't even let him sleep peacefully in the dormitory. He suffered greatly from the first day he arrived at the college.
Without even showing his anger, he put on a strong act in front of all the seniors, showing himself as an innocent person. All the teacher trainees were surprised by Hasan's acting skill. Since all the seniors started saying Nasir Hasan's name, all the teacher trainees also learned his name well. Many of them were people who had joined Hasan's 'Education Information' WhatsApp group and benefited from him. They associated with him, calling him 'Leader' and speaking to him with respect.
As he prepared to go to class wearing the white uniform, a feeling of preparing to go to school arose in Hasan's mind. A thought came to Hasan's mind, "It was as if school life was brought back before his eyes, coming from a normal school to a national school." Seeing the college dormitory and the way the trainees were, a thought also arose in his mind that "everyone has been brought to a hospital."
College life was a life with many restrictions. From the first day at the college, wearing a white T-shirt and black trousers, carrying a plate and going to the queue for food, Hasan felt a sensation of what the life of a prisoner in a jail would be like.
He grew tired of college life due to having to continuously eat only rice and dhal (sorum parippume). With all these difficulties on one side, there was no end to the ragging by the seniors. Once, Hasan told all this to his mother. She asked Hasan to do everything the seniors said and to remain silent and patient until they left the college.
"Who do you think you are? Creating WhatsApp groups and sharing information about the college; telling others how to fill out the college bond agreement; trying to finish college in 2 years; are you working at the Ministry of Education?" Saying this, the seniors mocked Hasan. After that, they forced Hasan not to provide any information related to the college and to leave all the WhatsApp groups.
Hasan thought, "They are behaving this way due to jealousy of someone's progress." Hasan did not do anything they said. At one point, Hasan could not remain silent. He stood alone and opposed each of them. His anger made him want to hit one of them. However, for the sake of his mother's words, and keeping in mind "I am a teacher trainee," he endured. Hasan went through all this with the confidence that "this college life will be happy after these seniors leave the college." Hasan wrote a poem centered on college life.
Now when will they take us,
Thinking after staying at home for four or five years,
We came to the college amidst many difficulties...
Separated from parents,
Leaving the village,
Forgetting home,
Freed from family,
Leaving the job,
Separated from friends,
Hoping for the respectable teaching profession we are entitled to,
And wishing to find the friendship of new friends,
We came to the college with expectations...
With the sadness of being separated from their child, the parents too,
And with the sadness of being separated from our parents, we too,
As memories came and went,
Our first day at the college began with great sorrow...
Forgetting the tasty home-cooked food made by mother,
Forgetting the sweet shop-bought rice brought by father,
Getting used to rice with only one curry for all three meals at the college,
Putting even food that the stomach didn't want into the stomach,
Not eating food for taste,
Only to sustain life from hunger,
Getting used to eating all the disliked food,
Our college life began with great difficulty...
The feeling of being imprisoned in a jail with many restrictions always coming to mind,
Making us feel like prisoners,
Amidst many examinations,
We got used to living college life...
With the sole happiness of having friends,
Forgetting all the sorrow,
With the thought that everything will become accustomed over time,
We started to forget everything and live happily,
Our college life...
Getting used to waking up on time,
Uprooting laziness completely,
Considering any food as food,
Making us feel the sorrow of the poor,
We got used to eating the available food in college life...
For the respectable teaching profession we are destined to receive after three years,
With the self-confidence that I will face and overcome any challenge,
We will live this college life and depart.
Hasan published the excellent poem, which was based on all the ideas and experiences he had about college life, in all his WhatsApp groups, and the poem became famous among many.
Although Nasir Hasan possessed various talents, he did not come forward for any program held at the college. Hasan thought, "I should stay as a normal teacher trainee in the college, leave without being noticed when I came or when I left." But the other teacher trainees did not allow him. When selecting the leader for the 'Green Leader Programme', a major program conducted in National Colleges of Education, all the teacher trainees suggested Nasir Hasan's name, and amidst strong applause from everyone, he was elected as the leader. The supervising lecturer also welcomed Hasan, portraying him as a hero in front of everyone.
When the lecturer asked Hasan to select a trainee as a secretary, Hasan said, "I don't recognize anyone," and did not select anyone. Afterward, all the trainees got together and selected one person as secretary. At that moment, a trainee from Hasan's Deltota village was a little sad, thinking, "Nasir Hasan knows me well; he should have chosen me." Hasan thought he should also give her some opportunity. He divided all fifty teacher trainees into groups, selected leaders for each group, distributed land for landscaping, and started a project called the 'Green Project' at the college.
At the end of the year 2023, the Inter-House Sports Meet of the Attalachchenai National College of Education was held. When Nasir Hasan practiced on the field, he received great support from the teacher trainees. Because of Nasir Hasan's 'Education Information' service and the life story he wrote, a separate fan base had been created for him even before he arrived at the college. Therefore, wherever the name 'Nasir Hasan' was heard in the college, he received strong applause.
Hasan thought he should show his abilities to everyone at the Inter-House Sports Meet. The obsession that "I must participate in the running events with the seniors at the Inter-House Sports Meet, win first place, and take my revenge on them" was strong in Hasan's mind. Hasan thought, "That is the best answer I can give them; I will show all my anger through my sport."
All the people who participated in the running event with Hasan at the Inter-House Sports Meet were seniors. As he expected, Hasan won first place in the race, surpassing all of them. Moreover, in all the competitions Hasan participated in, he created fear in everyone. Furthermore, Hasan gave his maximum effort as his house had to win the Inter-House Sports Meet. After the Inter-House Sports Meet was completely over, a trainee separately named and praised Hasan for all his efforts in the house.
The final day of the Inter-House Sports Meet was the seniors' final day at the college. No matter how much anger and hatred Hasan had towards them in his heart, the moment they bade farewell and left the college brought some sadness to Hasan's mind. All of them came to Hasan, cried, and apologized. Hasan also forgave them and said to them, “I also acted disrespectfully towards your words in many places; forgive me too.” They also forgave Hasan, and finally, all the seniors departed from the college with tears in their eyes.
Many expected that "Nasir Hasan will be the leader (authority) for all the teacher trainees in the college." Everyone called Hasan "Leader, Leader," and he also developed an interest in it. At the Attalachchenai National College of Education, it was a custom to select a Maulavi teacher trainee from the Islamic Studies division when selecting a leader for the teacher trainees. Hasan told some teacher trainees, "If they don't select that way and hold a vote, I will definitely win and be elected as the leader; I will definitely get the highest number of votes." They replied, “They don't hold a vote and select that way.”
Hasan thought, "Just like I ran for and won the Children's Parliament election held at the school when I went to study for the G.C.E. Advanced Level in my school life, it would be a pride if a vote for the leader was held at the college, and I ran and won." A few days later, as Hasan expected, the selection of the leader took place through a vote. It was the first democratic vote held in the college. A Maulavi had nominated his name to be selected as the leader. Many expected Nasir Hasan to nominate his name as a competitor.
Since the lecturer in charge of Hasan's class, who was from the Islamic Studies subject, asked only one person to give a name, and one person to give way to others, Hasan said he would give way to the Maulavi and did not nominate his name. Therefore, the Maulavi was elected as the leader of the teacher trainees without any competitor. Many asked Hasan, "Why didn't you nominate your name? If you had nominated your name, you would have definitely received many votes and won to become the leader; we had high hopes." Hasan replied, "I gave way to the Maulavi." Hasan thought, "Maulavis should guide society; they should be given priority in leadership."
A young woman at the college treated Hasan as her brother and showed great affection for him. Since she was connected to Hasan's 'Education Information' WhatsApp group, Hasan knew her well even before coming to the college. Hasan had helped her a lot. After she arrived at the college, her college life was not happy. It was very difficult, and she told Hasan, "I don't recognize anyone at this college; I only know you the best; I considered you my own brother, you must make my college life happy." Hasan told her, "Insha Allah, everything will be alright soon." The phrase "considered you my own brother" brought some happiness to Hasan's heart. Hasan understood, "It was not just something she said; she said it from her heart."
Hasan told her, "No one else has ever told me that; no matter how many sisters I have among relatives, no one has shown such affection towards me; but for the first time, you, a sister who is not a relative and not born together, show so much affection towards me; I will always be the best brother for you; I will also make your college life a happy one soon."
Hasan also showed great affection towards his sister and behaved well. Furthermore, Hasan made her college life a very happy one. She also told her mother about Hasan. Her mother also had a good opinion of Hasan. Hasan also told his mother about her, saying, "I have gained a good sister at the college." The affection of that sister was the first blessing Hasan received in his college life. A good sibling bond was maintained between the two.
Nasir Hasan's college life also became very pleasant for him, more than he had expected. Despite this, he also went through very difficult days from time to time. Although many people supported him at the college, he did not have a trustworthy, good friend or close friend of his own to share his grievances and difficulties with. Loneliness came frequently and made him weep.
Hasan talked and associated well with everyone at the college. He behaved well with everyone. However, he did not have much trust in anyone. Therefore, he did not become close with anyone, nor did he associate with anyone as friends. His mindset was the main reason for this. He sought loneliness, thinking, "Loneliness is the best assistant."
Even in his Deltota village, he did not have any friends of his own. Before going to the college, Hasan was focused on himself and his shop, showed a greater interest in business, and did not show any interest in finding friends. "Nasir Hasan is the only person in this world who has no friends," his mother and relatives always say. Moreover, he did not have feelings like love or attraction towards anyone. He was accustomed to loneliness because he was happy even when he was alone. There was no sadness in his heart about "not having any friends." But it was after going to the college that this sadness arose and caused him great difficulty.
A classmate who had read Nasir Hasan's past life story completely became Hasan's good friend and also a fan. Hasan, who was not interested in forming close friendships with any of the women, talked and associated with that smiling friend, who sat in the front row of the class, without any expectations. The strong trust she had in Hasan was the main reason why Hasan talked and associated with her. When Hasan said, "I don't have a good friend, it's just loneliness," she asked him, "Then, am I not your friend?" and gained a place in Hasan's heart as a good friend. Hasan accepted her as a good friend in his college life.
She told Hasan, "Your phone number is the only one I have saved on my phone from the boys." Even if Hasan didn't come to class one day, she would ask Hasan, "Why didn't you come?" Whenever Hasan was silent, not talking to anyone in the class due to some sorrow, she would ask Hasan in a message, "Why are you not even talking to me?" When Hasan told her all the grievances and difficulties in his heart, she was a great relief to Hasan. When Hasan addressed her as "My Dear Friend" in a message, she replied, "Say, My Dear Friend." Hasan only replied to her messages with a smile emoji. Because of this, she told Hasan that whenever anyone sent her a smile emoji, she was reminded of Hasan. In this way, the friendship she showed towards Hasan was exceptional.
Whatever she asked Hasan for as a "favor," he never said "no." He did all the help he could for her. On Fridays, at the time the class ended, she would come to Hasan and ask, "I need a favor, please don't just say no; you must definitely do this favor for me." When the thought "What favor is she going to ask?" came to his mind, Hasan told her, "Okay, tell me, I'll do it." To that, she told Hasan, "Don't schedule the Green Project for tomorrow morning, Saturday, I need to sleep." Hasan acted accordingly for her. A good friendship was maintained between the two. Hasan behaved very clearly with her, thinking, "This friendship should last forever; it should not break because of love."
Furthermore, Hasan told her a few truths to make her understand him. Hasan told her sadly, "I don't like to be humiliated in matters concerning girls, that's why I don't talk much with girls; I have never asked for a number from any girl; I haven't even said 'I Love You' to any girl until now; but one girl caught my heart. I loved her in my mind for 3 years. I didn't even get a chance to tell her that; I informed her by writing that matter in my life story and giving it to her; but she never understood me until the end; she didn't like me either, only humiliation was left many times."
She also understood Hasan's heart well and told Hasan, "I haven't seen anyone like you until now; no boy is like this; you are very good; I have great trust in you, that's why I only talk to you among the boys, you have a good future." To that, Hasan told her, "Many people have said the same thing; in everything, in every action, I'm Different." She always sat in the front row and talked with Hasan, smiling very well. In the Tamil subject, Hasan asked her to explain the concepts to him, and she explained very well to Hasan.
Hasan thought, "Overcoming the humiliations, failures, and difficulties I suffered in the past life, every victory and progress I achieve afterward should come as a new story." Hasan asked his friend, "I finished my past life story by writing 'Hasan went to the college,' how would it be if I wrote a story starting from the day I went to the college until achieving a great victory in life, titled 'Nasir Hasan 100% Real Life Story Chapter 2'? Should I write it?" To that, she told Hasan, "Write it, it will turn out very well." She told Hasan, "The first chapter (Chapter 1) had love, failure, humiliation, and difficulties; the second chapter (Chapter 2) should not have any of those, and only every victory and your progress should come into the story." Hasan's heart said, "Victory is not only the win we achieve by participating in competitions, but also the courageous facing of problems that come to us."
Hasan wrote the true story of his college life as every event and showed it to his friend, and she encouraged him even more. For the sake of the story, Hasan systematically progressed in life and achieved many victories. He added all of them to the story. The story he wrote was the main reason for all his victories. Hasan, thinking that "the friend who was the main reason for writing that story must definitely come into his life story," also added the close friendship between the two to his life story.
To collect information regarding the School Profile, which is carried out under the new education reforms, Nasir Hasan of the Attalachchenai National College of Education went to Karaithivu R.K.M. Girls' College. For the first time in his life, he went to a school as a teacher and observed the students and all the daily activities happening in the school. While observing all that, school life came before Hasan's eyes. When Hasan saw all the mischief the students did, the thought "we were like this when we were students too" came to his mind, and his eyes became slightly moist.
Various responsibilities were given to each teacher trainee to compile the entire history of the school and document it. Hasan brilliantly fulfilled the responsibility given to him: observing the daily activities of the school and collecting information. He went to that school for three days, collected everything, and handed it over to the teacher trainee who was appointed as the leader for the School Profile program. Nasir Hasan gained a great experience as a teacher by going to the school and identifying the mentality and activities of every student.
After Hasan gave away the shop he was running and went to the college, his family faced great economic difficulties. He suffered without even having money for his expenses at the college. Without showing any of that externally, he overcame everything with the self-confidence that "these difficulties will not last forever."
When he came home for the college vacation, he was distressed to see the family's difficulties. When his mother said she wouldn't cook today because there was no firewood to cook on the hearth, he went to the garden to find firewood. Even the firewood he brought did not burn well. His mother cooked the food with great difficulty by blowing air and igniting the firewood. When he finally got the food and ate it after waiting for a long time due to hunger and smoke, his mother's touch of taste made the food delicious.
His mother washed clothes with great difficulty with her own hands. She did not even have money to buy and eat the things she desired. His mother cried and lamented to Hasan, "Even after marrying your father and all this time has passed, even though he has earned millions and crores, he has not prepared anything like houses, property, or gold jewelry for the family, or even for his two children." Hasan was sad, thinking that his father was going to work in a shop for a small daily wage, abandoning all the respectable, valuable jobs he had done. Even though his salary was not even enough to eat properly when paying the monthly house rent, his mother managed everything. His mother's biggest dream was to "overcome all difficulties and see her two children get into a good state and live well."
Hasan, with self-confidence, thought, “Insha Allah, everything will be good once I get into a good state, I will take good care of my mother and family, all these difficulties are only for a little while longer,” and disregarded any difficulties that came his way, moving towards his goal. "A person who lives well even in poverty, believing in his abilities, carried his life story forward toward a great victory."
The day for Nasir Hasan's 1st Block Teaching in his college life also approached. Hasan thought, "It would be good if I got a school somewhere nearby." Just as he expected, he received a school in Attalachchenai. Hasan first went to Attalachchenai An-Noor Maha Vidyalaya for Unit Collection. He requested to teach grades 6, 8, and 10 and obtained the timetable. Then he wrote the Lessons and Schemes to be suitable for teaching. The lecturer in charge of the class was appointed as the supervising lecturer for Hasan's 1st Block Teaching. Therefore, Hasan had no hesitation in his mind. All the teacher trainees stayed awake until dawn, working hard to write lessons and schemes and prepare Teaching Aids. But Hasan did not work hard like that and was not confused about this, finishing writing smoothly.
The first day for the two-week Block Teaching arrived. For the first time in his life, Hasan went to Attalachchenai An-Noor Maha Vidyalaya to teach lessons as a teacher. At the morning assembly on the first day, the principal called the newcomers to the stage and asked them to introduce themselves. Nasir Hasan also introduced himself, and his name was well learned by the students. He first went to teach the lesson to the 6th grade. On the very first day, Hasan, who could not control the 6th-grade students, took the cane in his hand and brought everyone under his control. Only then was he able to teach the lesson.
Hasan taught the lessons very well to the students of grades 8 and 10, just as he expected, since there was no major trouble from them. Since the teaching profession was Nasir Hasan's goal and a long-day dream, he felt a strong desire at that moment to go to all classes and teach lessons. During a time when Hasan was relaxing without a lesson in the class, he went to grade 11. The lesson, 'Islamic View on Good Morals,' which was taught to grade 10, was also the first unit for the second term for grade 11. Therefore, Hasan taught the Islamic lesson to grade 11 excellently using the preparation he had done for grade 10.
A desire to teach lessons in Advanced Level classes also arose in his mind. He called an Advanced Level student and said, "Come and tell me when there is no lesson being conducted in the class, and let's learn the Islamic lesson." In response, the student said to Hasan, "I have many doubts, Sir. If the teacher who teaches the lesson doesn't come, I will come and tell you; you come."
A few days later, a grade 11 student from the school came to Hasan and said, "The provincial level exam for the Islamic Studies lesson was yesterday; a question came from the lesson you taught in the exam; I answered it by remembering exactly what you taught." Hasan was quite pleased to hear this.
On the last day of the 1st Block Teaching, when Hasan went to Grade 6 and sat in the chair, a few students requested Hasan not to look their way. Hasan, thinking, 'They must be eating something they brought, and that's why they told me not to look so I couldn't see,' did not look in that direction. After a few minutes of Hasan sitting in the chair, a few students sprinkled white and yellow flowers on Hasan, showed him respect, and gave him a small gift. This evoked an emotional feeling in Hasan's heart. Even Hasan's eyes were slightly wet. Hasan thanked all the students. Along with that, the 2-week 1st Block Teaching ended. By going to a school for the first time as a teacher and teaching lessons, Hasan gained a good, unforgettable life experience. It brought great joy to his life.
Hasan introduced many rules and conditions to get everyone's support for the Green Project activity conducted under the leadership of Nasir Hasan at the Addalachchenai National College of Education. Many people supported him according to his orders. Some complained to a few lecturers about his strict controls. When the leadership of Nasir Hasan was discussed at the Staff Meeting for the lecturers, a few lecturers criticized him. However, the lecturer who greatly supported Hasan and trained him for excellent leadership spoke in support of Hasan. He also said, "Nasir Hasan is imposing these kinds of conditions and rules only to get everyone's cooperation." Furthermore, even the Dean of the college, as he observed, praised Hasan at the same Staff Meeting, saying that Hasan worked alone, showed great interest in it, and performed excellently. One lecturer criticized Hasan, saying, "He acted as if he was working to show the Dean when he arrived." To that, the Dean said, "No, he didn't see me until I got close to him."
The lecturer's comment at that moment brought great sadness to the hearts of the other lecturers who had great faith in Hasan. Hasan, who heard all this, did not lose heart, disregarded any criticism, and carried out the leadership role given to him even more excellently. Although a few lecturers in the college disliked and criticized him, he was happy to know that he had the support of all the other lecturers.
The ceremony to introduce the Green Leader Programme at the Addalachchenai National College of Education by the Central Environmental Authority team was held. Through this, the trainers understood that the main reasons for conducting Green Projects in National Colleges of Education were leadership training and environmental awareness.
Nasir Hasan, who led and excellently executed the college's Green Project, was praised by the Dean of the college and the lecturer in charge of the Green Project at the ceremony. It is also noteworthy that even after the ceremony ended, the lecturer who taught Psychology asked all teacher trainees not to leave, praised Nasir Hasan's leadership, and said that everyone must necessarily submit to his leadership.
Among the places where the college's Green Project was conducted, the spot near Hasan's class and behind the Academy was a challenging location. Hasan, as the leader of that team, chose a young woman from his hometown of Deltota and a non-biological sister as the deputy leader. The main challenge at that spot was that, no matter how hard the team members tried, more grass grew day by day than the plants. Although all other spots were doing well, nothing succeeded only at that location. The team leader repeatedly told Hasan, "Remove me from this leadership position and put someone else." Hasan thought, 'The child from our village should not be insulted because of this, and her spot must come out excellently more than anything else.'
"Don't even think about stepping away from this, I will help you completely," Hasan told her. Initially, everyone assessed that the Green Project had failed, focusing only on that location. That very spot was the one entrusted to the lecturer in charge of the Green Project, who had provided great support to Hasan. Hasan was saddened that his spot was the worst of all. Some lecturers who came to the class even went to the window, looked outside, and joked by pointing out that only grass was growing. They said, 'Even that spot was chosen incorrectly.' They also said, 'The soil hasn't even been tested.' Such criticisms were raised against Hasan initially. "Nasir Hasan's unique pride is to achieve victory through the very thing that brought him insult." He took this up as a big challenge as well and focused entirely on that spot, more than all the other locations.
A person who had never farmed, cultivated crops in his life, had no prior experience in it, and was chosen as the leader for it, learned about it and planned that spot so excellently that it drew everyone's attention. Hasan, as a single person, dedicated his full effort to that spot, thinking, 'It must come out as the best spot of all.' Everyone in the college asked Hasan, "For whom are you toiling so much alone? Who is all this for? For whom?" and Hasan also asked himself the question. 'Is all this being done for the child from the village chosen as the team leader? No. Is it for the non-biological sister chosen as the deputy leader? It is not for anyone of them, it is all for the lecturer in charge of the Green Project and that spot, who trained me for leadership and gave me great support,' Hasan's inner mind said.
The team leader and all the team members acted according to Hasan's instructions and provided great support. Furthermore, that spot, located behind the college's Academy, became Hasan's favorite place in the college and the best spot compared to all others. Hasan even obtained that spot for himself through the lecturer in charge. Not only did Nasir Hasan change that spot so excellently that everyone's attention in the college was drawn to it, but it is also amazing that he cultivated and harvested chili, okra, cowpea, and even tomatoes there. All this was a new experience in Nasir Hasan's life. Not only was he trained for leadership, but environmental awareness influenced Nasir Hasan's mind, and he achieved a great victory from the Green Project.
As soon as the applications and gazette notice for the National Colleges of Education for students who passed the Advanced Level examination in 2021 and 2022 were released, Nasir Hasan posted it in his Education Information WhatsApp group. He provided guidance to everyone on National Colleges of Education, subject selection, college interviews, and all guidance related to college registration.
Thousands of students in the groups sent their O/L and A/L results to Hasan and asked him to select subjects for the college. Hasan selected subjects for thousands of people as much as he could. Moreover, he submitted applications for those who did not know how to apply for the college of education. Furthermore, he helped students who had difficulties applying, cleared all doubts related to the National College of Education, and provided complete support.
In the present time, many people charge around a thousand rupees from each person to select subjects for the college for students, provide guidance, and submit applications, doing it as a business. But Nasir Hasan continued to do this as a service without taking any money from anyone. Through this, Nasir Hasan's name and his Education Information WhatsApp groups became famous among thousands of students.
Some jealous people who could not bear to see Hasan's progress and growth through Education Information complained falsely about Hasan to a few lecturers. They made false complaints that Hasan had kept everyone who was about to come newly to the college under his control, that Hasan had said that girls in the college should dress in a certain way, and that they should wear 'this kind of shoes.' One lecturer spoke about these false complaints at the Staff Meeting for college lecturers when discussing Hasan's Education Information.
Unresolved problems quickly came and surrounded Hasan's college life, which had flowed silently like a clear stream. In response to all those complaints raised against Hasan, Hasan told the lecturers, "I only gave guidance and advice regarding subject selection and application for the college, and otherwise, I and my activities have no connection with the college's clothing, shoes, or those things," and Hasan bravely faced and overcame that problem alone. However, based on that matter, Hasan was constantly insulted by a few lecturers. Even those insults caused great distress to Hasan. Yet, he endured everything. Hasan's heart said, "It's better not to count or think about anything, no matter what anyone says from now on." Hasan thought, 'If someone dislikes us, they will try to say anything, critics will try to criticize, let's not mind any of that and just do our duty correctly,' and acted accordingly.
The lecturer in charge of Commerce subject severely warned Hasan, "From now on, no guidance, advice, or information should be given to the students who applied to the college," and "If he acts in that way, he will have to leave the college." However, Hasan acted against the warnings of those lecturers, disregarding them. Hasan's heart said, "One should only be afraid of doing evil. We should not be afraid of doing good to others." Hasan thought, "They are behaving that way toward me because of the jealousy in their hearts caused by seeing my progress and advancement." Disregarding all that, Hasan continued his service.
Hasan's heart said, "You might be criticized; your paths might be blocked; your ideas and thoughts might be questioned; your life might be surrounded by insults; no matter what, as long as truth and honesty are with you, God will only leave victory in your path."
After the name list of those selected for the interview from among those who applied to the college was published, Hasan also posted it in his Education Information WhatsApp group. It is noteworthy that thousands of those who had joined Hasan's group, received all the guidance and advice related to the college, and applied, were selected for the National Colleges of Education. He gave complete guidance to all of them on how to correctly fill out the College Bond Form, and all the students registered at the National Colleges of Education without any hassle. All the students wholeheartedly thanked Hasan for all his guidance and help. Furthermore, Nasir Hasan's name became famous among all the National Colleges of Education. In particular, Nasir Hasan was a major reason for the emergence of thousands of future teachers in Sri Lanka.
The college lecturers accepted this service provided by Hasan. Moreover, even the lecturer in charge of Commerce, who had warned Hasan, developed a good opinion of Hasan. He came to Hasan, behaving very well, much to Hasan's surprise. Hasan also behaved very well and respectfully toward all the lecturers, including them, and Hasan's college life became one of even greater pride.
The new batches of 2021 and 2022 Advanced Level students were scheduled to be admitted to the Addalachchenai National College of Education. Therefore, it was decided to give the men's dormitory to the women to provide them with accommodation. The Dean told all the male teacher trainees in the men's dormitory to go to the Teacher Training College dormitory outside the college. Only one building there was in good condition, and the other was an old building on the verge of collapsing. Since the basic facilities for accommodation, such as toilets and water facilities, were not properly available there, and there were not enough fans, most of the males did not show even a slight willingness to go to the Teacher Training College dormitory outside the college.
Hasan also spoke on behalf of the males and posted a Voice Message in the College WhatsApp group. In that voice message, Hasan said, "The Teacher Training College dormitory outside the college does not have any basic facilities for all the males to stay; that dormitory is like an old bungalow built in the 1940s, on the verge of collapse; it's not even possible to say when it might collapse; there could even be life hazards; there is also information that the dormitory was previously instructed to be demolished; there are no proper water facilities or toilets there; there are no suitable facilities for bathing; even fans are insufficient; there is no space even to keep our belongings; there are no facilities for studying there; therefore, none of the males want to go there; let the men's dormitory be given to the men, and let the women manage themselves in the women's dormitory; how many things have the men done for the women; I have also done things; it is not necessary to explain that. Let the women do this big favor for the men."
Many of the young women who heard the voice message understood everything in their hearts and said that the women would manage themselves in the women's dormitory and that the men's dormitory would be given to the men. The males who heard this jumped for joy. A group of women, saying, "Nasir Hasan changed many people's minds by putting a Voice Message," became severely angry with Hasan. They immediately left his WhatsApp group as well. Seventy of them were sent to the dormitory called the Green Dome in the women's dormitory. The Green Dome was a dormitory constructed entirely of tin sheets. Because of the tin sheets, the heat was intense. The conditions for accommodation there were very difficult. Moreover, all 70 people were kept tightly packed in that dormitory, and all of them experienced great difficulty there. Thinking, "Nasir Hasan is the main reason for all these difficulties," they hated Hasan.
At that time, Hasan only thought about the males' side; he did not think about the women's situation. He also did not know about the Green Dome and that they were going to be sent there. The young women from Hasan's class who were sent to the Green Dome also became severely angry with Hasan. They showed differences. A great confusion, "Did I do right? Or wrong?" persisted in Hasan's mind. Hasan went to them, apologized, and talked about it. He also explained to them that "If the males had been sent to the outside dormitory, they would have faced several times more difficulties than the women are experiencing." But none of them understood it. However, the majority of the college accepted it, and Hasan got rid of the confusion about it, thinking, "What was meant to happen has happened." But Hasan thought a little about what should be done for the young women suffering in the Green Dome. Hasan's heart said, "The only correct solution for this is to quickly get everyone out of the college and end our college life quickly." Hasan made the efforts he could for that.
The Ministry of Education published the name lists of the 2021 and 2022 Advanced Level students selected for the interview for the 19 National Colleges of Education in Sri Lanka separately on its official website. As soon as it was released, Hasan shared it in his Education Information. The release of the name list for the Dharga Town National College of Education was slightly delayed. Hasan received a message from someone connected to his WhatsApp group saying, "The name list for the Dharga Town National College of Education has been sent to the Ministry of Education; it has not been released yet." Hasan called the phone number from which the message came. Hasan learned the fact that "She is a senior female lecturer at the Dharga Town National College of Education." They spoke to Hasan with great affection and humility. Hasan also spoke to them with great respect. Hasan introduced himself to them by stating, "Thousands of students are connected to my WhatsApp group, I act as the admin for everyone, and I am also a teacher trainee at the Addalachchenai National College of Education."
Hasan requested them, "Send me the name list of those selected for the Dharga Town College; before the Ministry of Education posts it on their website, I will post it in my Education Information WhatsApp groups." To that, she said, "Okay," and after obtaining the name list for the interview, the interview letter, and all other documents for the Dharga Town National College of Education from them, Hasan posted it in his Education Information WhatsApp groups, stating, "DNCoE Interview Name List released by Nasir Hasan," before the Ministry of Education posted it on their website. It reached all those selected very quickly. It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Education released it a week after Nasir Hasan released it. Furthermore, when Hasan inquired about that lecturer, he learned that she was a good senior female lecturer who had studied at the Dharga Town National College of Education, was serving as a lecturer at the same college, and was excellently carrying out even the duties of the Dean of the college. Moreover, it is a happy fact that she is a good senior lecturer liked by everyone in the college. Hasan also greatly liked that senior lecturer.
Nasir Hasan's services under the name Education Information became a trending topic among thousands of students who sat for and passed the Advanced Level. Even if a female student was called for an interview or registration at a college, that student would inform Nasir Hasan, who acts as the Education Information Admin, and go to the college only after getting his guidance and advice, proving how successful Nasir Hasan was. Furthermore, Nasir Hasan achieved such great progress that he had to decide for a female student who was selected for two colleges for two subjects, for which subject and at which college she should register. Moreover, with the idea that "Those who did not get a college as expected should not suffer by working in shops or going abroad without knowing what to do next, but should get a good government job in our country with the education they received," Hasan informed about the best fields to advance through education via his WhatsApp groups. He further continued his service by explaining about Law College, Nursing Training College, and Open University to the students. Thousands benefited from him, and Hasan received the blessings (Du'a) of everyone.
The new batch of students selected for the Addalachchenai National College of Education was admitted to the college on the first day with a grand reception. Many of them were people who had joined Nasir Hasan's Education Information WhatsApp groups and benefited from him. There was no one among the male trainees who did not know Nasir Hasan. Some of them were also his big fans. The orientation program for them also began within one or two days. On the tenth day of the orientation program, the 'Green Leader' program was conducted by the lecturer in charge of it. There, the lecturer introduced Nasir Hasan to all the new teacher trainees. Because of this, everyone got to know him well. Furthermore, the lecturer asked Nasir Hasan to speak about the Green Project, and it is noteworthy that he spoke about it excellently.
Once, when Hasan was traveling from the college to Eravur by bus, many teacher trainees from the Batticaloa College of Education boarded the bus. As soon as all those who boarded the bus saw Nasir Hasan, the sound of them shouting, "Nasir Hasan Sir... Nasir Hasan Sir," was heard by everyone on the bus. Some people on the bus said to Hasan, "Nasir Hasan is famous throughout Sri Lanka." A trainee from the Batticaloa National College of Education came to Hasan and wholeheartedly told him, "It is a great pleasure to see you," and "You are the reason we came this far, Sir." This also evoked an emotional feeling in Hasan's heart. It brought great joy to his heart that a trainee came in person and said this, rather than the many messages he received. Furthermore, all the teacher trainees came to Nasir Hasan and spoke respectfully. It is also noteworthy that they even tried to give their seats to Hasan. Nasir Hasan received an unexpected grand reception on the bus through them.
The close friendship that Nasir Hasan had with his female friend did not last long. For the Information Technology subject in the college, everyone in the class had gone to the IT lab. When the lecturer asked them to collect the laptops after the lesson ended, two males collected them. Although both males asked the friend for the laptops, she passed them without giving them the laptops, handed them over to Hasan, and smiled slightly. Seeing this, the two males laughed, saying, "Ha... ha..." She felt regretful seeing that. Hasan apologized to her for the mistake the two males made. She told Hasan, "I don't like being treated this way."
She, who always sat in the front row of the class and smiled and talked well with Hasan, moved from that spot and went to the back row. She told Hasan, "My parents have arranged a marriage for me at home." A thought came to Hasan's mind: 'Did she say that to stop me from talking to her in a friendly way, thinking I love her and misunderstood me?' He asked her for a photo of the groom who was arranged for the marriage, and she also sent it to Hasan. Hasan wished her well. She told Hasan, "I even told my future husband that I have a good friend in my college life, talking about you." This brought joy to Hasan.
As time went on, the importance she gave to Hasan also decreased. She told Hasan, "If the lecturers get to know that I am interacting with you in a friendly way, my name will be spoiled." She also significantly reduced talking. All this brought sadness to Hasan's heart. To make her understand his pure friendship and to make her talk, Hasan wrote her name in one place in the story he wrote and made it visible to her. The very action Hasan took to make her talk made her think, "Now I should not talk to him."
"I did it as a joke; forgive me," Hasan told her. But she did not understand. From then on, she hated Hasan. She blocked him on WhatsApp and deleted his phone number. She insulted Hasan in front of everyone in the class. It was a great insult to Hasan. However, Hasan, who understood, "It is not her fault; the fault is mine," remained silent. He did not get angry with her either. When Hasan's heart thought, "No matter how many people like me, she was the only one who placed great trust in me. I lost her trust," his eyes became wet.
The friend who said, "In college, I don't even talk to any male in my School Profile group; I only talk to you; that is because I trust you so much," now hated him and talked well, smiling with everyone else, leaving him. Every time Hasan saw this, he felt sad, thinking, "Then how ugly have I become to her, that only talking to me will spoil her name." The friendship, the trust, everything she had in Hasan was lost, and she hated him and completely abandoned him.
Although thousands of people extended the hand of friendship to Nasir Hasan, who did not accept anyone's friendship, Hasan became frustrated with the friendship of the friend he spoke to and associated with with great importance in the college life. She made Hasan think, "All the talking and associating she did with me until now was just acting." The change in his friend's behavior deeply hurt Hasan's heart. Hasan cried, thinking, "If I put my hand on my conscience and say, she was the only friend I spoke to and associated with well in my college life; I did not accept anyone else as a friend except her; Hasan did not form any friendship with any other young woman in the college." Hasan's heart said, "If a man sheds tears for a woman, it is not because of love; it might also be because of the pure, unmixed friendship he has for her."
Based on all the sorrows and feelings that arose in his heart from the pain of his friend's departure, Nasir Hasan wrote a realistic poem:
The flower that looked at me when it bloomed,
Forgot me when it withered,
When I looked at the withered and fallen flower,
For the friend I thought was a flower,
Is the poem I wrote,
In my thoughts.
From the front row,
You went to the back row, didn't you?
Is it because I am there, or what?
Showing your line of teeth,
You deceived me, didn't you?
In the name of friendship...
When I was thinking loneliness is the best helper,
You spoke sweet words, lying, didn't you?
Making me desire friendship...
Was it for your selfishness!?
You left me, abandoning me.
Knowing that the pain would be mine,
If I pulled,
I let go of
You, who did not know my heart.
Saying there was so much trust in me,
You only spoke to me then, didn't you?
Talking today without a conscience
With everyone else but me.
Is it because I added you as a friend
To my life story!?
This punishment is for me.
One day you will feel
The thought that you lost a good friendship.
I will also harden my heart.
When the time comes,
You too will think one day.
I should have let go of your friendship
Before it hurt!
You threw me away, didn't you...
Right after your need was over!
Nasir Hasan's poem about the change in his friend's behavior also received a good reception among the teacher trainees. Hasan wrote the poem specifically to showcase his ability, and to display the genuine feelings of friendship in his heart for his friend. However, she did not understand Hasan. Hasan thought, "The relationships that are not worthy of being with you will never stay with you; bravely bid farewell to those relationships; only if the unworthy things leave you will the worthy things come to you," and he let go of her friendship, moving on from her.
Stories are often written by many as fictional tales. No one writes their real life as a story. As a creative thought, Nasir Hasan wrote his real life story realistically and truthfully under the name 'Nasir Hasan 100% Real Life Story,' including all events from birth until going to college. Following that, centering on the college life, he rewrote the story under the name 'Nasir Hasan 100% Real Life Story Chapter Two,' covering from the beginning of college life until Nasir Hasan achieved a great victory in life.
This is the real life story of one person who strives to set records in all fields such as education, business, agriculture, food, environment, sports, technology, and art. The main theme and the success of the story, 'Nasir Hasan 100% Real Life Story,' is the immense victory achieved by a person who bravely faces all the insults, defeats, difficulties, disregard, challenges, criticisms, and problems in life alone, and who can live well even in poverty, by trusting his abilities.
'Nasir Hasan 100% Real Life Story' was excellent as a source from which the complete life history of the person named Nasir Hasan could be known. There are many who mock and joke about Nasir Hasan writing and publishing his life story as a narrative. Disregarding all of them, a separate fan base began to emerge for the story, as people accepted Hasan's ability and enthusiastically sought out and enjoyed his story, and Hasan did not care about those who joked about the story even slightly.
The female leader of the college's teacher trainees, having joined Nasir Hasan's Education Information WhatsApp group before coming to the college, read the complete life story Nasir Hasan had posted in the group, got to know him well, and became a big fan of Nasir Hasan even before coming to the college. She also provided great support to the story. She did not abandon Hasan to anyone in the college who mocked him for writing his life as a story. She accepted Hasan's ability by praising him and telling everyone, "It is Nasir Hasan's personal ability."
She asked Hasan for the book, 'Nasir Hasan 100% Real Life Story,' that he had printed. When Hasan gave her the storybook, she took it home to read, and her sisters also read the story. They too were very attracted to the story. Furthermore, they did not even feel like returning the storybook. The leader of the teacher trainees told them, "I must definitely return it to Nasir Hasan," took the storybook, handed it over to Hasan, and told Hasan what had happened. Afterward, the leader of the teacher trainees received one of the newly printed 'Nasir Hasan 100% Real Life Story' books as a gift from Nasir Hasan.
Hasan posted every event written in the 'Nasir Hasan 100% Real Life Story Chapter 2' in his WhatsApp groups. Because of this, the fans of the story increased even more. All of them were teacher trainees studying in all the National Colleges of Education. Many who read the story sent excellent Comments to Hasan about the story. "The story is very excellent; I cried while reading the story" was the comment of many. A female teacher trainee from the Addalachchenai National College of Education sent a comment that was very pleasing to Hasan: "From now on, may your journey be so successful that another person enthusiastically seeks out and enjoys writing about your future victories and glory, instead of you yourself telling about your excellence and glory through your story. Congratulations for that."
Once, in the college dormitory, the deputy leader of the teacher trainees was crying during the night. His eyes were very red from crying. When Hasan saw this and asked him, "Why, what happened," he replied, "I just read your story; I was very moved; it is written very well." Although many comments had come to the story that many who read Hasan's story cried, this was the first time Hasan witnessed a male teacher trainee crying in person. The deputy leader of the college's teacher trainees was also attracted to Nasir Hasan's story and became his fan. His expectation was also that "Nasir Hasan must set a big record in life."
A teacher trainee in the college read Nasir Hasan's life story completely and presented the story very beautifully among the teacher trainees in the dormitory. Some college teacher trainees accepted Hasan's story and encouraged him. Their belief was, "Certainly one day, Nasir Hasan's life story will become world famous." One person there not only recognized Hasan's abilities in writing the story but also encouraged him further, recognizing all his other abilities. He gave complete support to lead Hasan to a great victory. Whenever others joked using Hasan, he did not abandon Hasan but made others understand by pointing out Hasan's abilities. He was also a major reason for all of Hasan's progress. Furthermore, the college's Guidance and Counseling and Sociology lecturer also read Hasan's story and told Nasir Hasan that "The story is excellent" and "to continue writing it further."
The female lecturer in charge of Islamic Studies in the college, who had great affection and faith in Hasan, read Hasan's life story, understood Hasan very well, accepted Hasan's ability, and provided great support to Hasan and the story he wrote. She wished that "Hasan must set a big record in life."
When Hasan told her everything that happened in his life, it was a great relief to Hasan. In a very short time, Nasir Hasan gained a place in her heart as her best student and a teacher trainee. She wished, "I must also get a place in the life story that Nasir Hasan is writing." Hasan's heart said, "When others are leaving me, fearing that they will appear in my real life story that I am writing, a female lecturer is thinking of getting a place in my life story for the first time, proving how excellent the story has become." Not only in the life story, but the female lecturer in charge of Islamic Studies gained an indelible place in Hasan's heart.
When Hasan posted a status in sorrow, "Loneliness is good, there is no good friend," she called Hasan and comforted him, saying, "No matter who stops talking in life, even if the whole college rejects you, you must move towards your dream without minding any criticism, you must introduce who you are to everyone, and then how many people will like you; there should never be sadness near you who tries to set records." Not only did she comfort him, but she also encouraged Hasan for success in life. Hasan took many of the pieces of advice she gave to heart and acted accordingly. She told all the teacher trainees in the class to definitely read the story. She said, "It doesn't matter if others don't read it, all of you must definitely read it." Nasir Hasan's life story was so excellent that one person would tell another to read it.
The date for Nasir Hasan's 2nd Block Teaching in his college life also approached. Hasan thought, "This time I will get a school somewhere a bit far away." In the same way, he got a school in Kalmunai. Hasan first went to Kalmunai Islamabaad College for Unit Collection. He requested and obtained the timetable to teach grades 6, 8, 9, and 10 as usual. Afterward, he wrote the Lesson Plans and Scheme suitable for teaching.
The first day for the two-week Block Teaching arrived. He went to Kalmunai Islamabaad College to teach the lesson. The school was a school with a small number of students. There were only about twenty students in each class on average. Because of this, Hasan was able to teach in a way that everyone could understand easily. Many students requested Hasan, "Come to this school for the 1 Year Internship; the school also has dormitory facilities."
While the 2nd Block Teaching was going on, an Inter-House Sports Meet was being held at the Pulathisipura National College of Education in Polonnaruwa. On the final day there, 100m x 4, 200m x 4, and 400m x 4 relay races were scheduled to be held between all the National Colleges of Education in Sri Lanka. For selecting competitors for this, Nasir Hasan became the first and second in the two training races held at the Addalachchenai National College of Education and was selected for the competition.
It was Nasir Hasan's long-term dream to "go to a running competition like this, win it, and bring honor to the Addalachchenai National College of Education." Hasan's self-confidence said, 'I can do it.' The teacher trainees told Nasir Hasan, "Teacher trainees from the 19 National Colleges of Education in Sri Lanka are going to recognize Nasir Hasan." With great dreams and confidence, Nasir Hasan went to the Polonnaruwa Pulathisipura National College of Education to participate in the running competition held among the 19 National Colleges of Education.
A rain interfered with the final day of the Inter-House Sports Meet at the Polonnaruwa National College of Education. All the sports competitions held between the houses of that college were held during the rain. Only the teacher trainees from Addalachchenai, along with Batticaloa and Mahaweli National Colleges, had come to participate in the competitions between the colleges. No one from the other National Colleges of Education had come. Hasan did not participate in the 100m x 4 relay race held between the colleges. He intended to participate in the other 200m x 4 and 400m x 4. But only the 100m x 4 relay race was held due to the rain and insufficient time. The Addalachchenai National College of Education got 3rd place in it. Although Nasir Hasan, who went there, did not participate in the competition, that trip to Polonnaruwa during the 2nd Block Teaching brought great joy to Hasan's life.
The next day, Hasan went to Kalmunai Islamabaad School for Block Teaching. Due to the fatigue of going to and returning from Polonnaruwa, he felt sleepy as soon as he went to school. Just at that time, the lecturer came to the school to supervise Hasan. Hasan went to grade 6 to teach the Islamic lesson. He finished teaching the lesson on "Adam (Alai)" (Prophet Adam) very quickly. The lecturer asked Hasan, "The time you spent teaching the lesson was only about five minutes; the rest of the time was summarizing and evaluating; you were idle for a long time; why did you teach like this?" To that, Hasan said, "It is the fatigue of going to and returning from Polonnaruwa yesterday." He told Hasan, "I will have to supervise again," and left. However much the 1st Block Teaching brought joy to Hasan, he did not get the same feeling with the 2nd Block Teaching.
The lecturer asking Hasan, "You who guided thousands of students, why did you teach like this?" was considered a great insult by Nasir Hasan. That day was the final day of the 2nd Block Teaching. The lecturer came to the school to supervise Hasan for the second time. Hasan went to grade 10 and taught the lesson unit on "Business" in Islamic Studies very interestingly and well to the students. He explained the lesson well to the students without stopping even a little until the end of the lesson. All the students learned the lesson with interest and understood it well. The lecturer wrote the supervisory note in Hasan's lesson notebook and left.
Hasan took the lesson notebook with great confidence and looked at what he had written. "Action plan and lesson notes are written; teaching resources have been used; students were engaged in learning activities with interest; teacher-student communication is excellent; learning outcomes were achievable and constructible;" the supervisory note was written excellently in this manner. Hasan felt great joy as soon as he saw it. Hasan thanked all the students.
The principal, teachers, and all the students of that school requested Hasan, "Ask for this school for your Internship." Moreover, the principal told Hasan, "If you are willing to come to this school, tell me, and I will talk to the lecturer in charge." Hasan thanked the principal and the teachers, saying Insha Allah, and bid farewell to the school. Along with that, the 2nd Block Teaching ended. That final day of Nasir Hasan's 2nd Block Teaching in his college life was a very happy day for Hasan.
Due to the continuous heavy rain, large flood disasters occurred in many areas. Even the Ashraff Memorial Stadium outside the Addalachchenai National College of Education was completely submerged in water. The ground of the Addalachchenai National College of Education was also partially submerged. It was at that time that Hasan spoke about the flood disaster, standing in front of a camera for the first time. The video he spoke in was also shared by many.
The next day, Hasan took three teacher trainees and went near the stadium. When Hasan was sitting on a chair there, a teacher trainee made a flower fall near Hasan. A teacher trainee told Hasan, "You should pick it up, look deeply at it, and then throw the flower away and leave." When someone sees a flower, a poem often comes to mind. At that moment, Hasan thought of showcasing his poetry ability to everyone. Hasan recited the poem about the change in his friend's behavior, which he wrote for the friend who had shown false friendship and affection and deceived him in his college life. The other teacher trainee videoed it very beautifully. Hasan edited that video beautifully and posted it in all his WhatsApp groups.
Nasir Hasan received a great reception for that poetry video from the teacher trainees of the Addalachchenai National College of Education and other National Colleges of Education. Hasan thought a little, 'If it's like this just for this, how would it be if his real life story was made into a movie?' Hasan planned to do this excellently to attract the thousands of fans who read his story. Moreover, in the initial stages when Nasir Hasan went to college, when the lecturers who came to the class asked everyone to introduce themselves on the first day, Nasir Hasan introduced himself as 'Actor, Director, Writer, Artist.' But he had never acted on any stage in his life. All of that remained his dreams. Then he decided, "I must leave here only after realizing all the dreams like 'Actor, Director, Writer, Artist' before the 3-year college life ends."
Nasir Hasan planned to direct a movie based on the story 'Nasir Hasan 100% Real Life Story' under the name 'Turning Point,' starring himself as the hero, as the first real movie in Tamil cinema history to be created based on real incidents and stories, using real characters, and to release it. Hasan's heart said that if this movie was released, it would be a big record. There were a few teacher trainees around him in the college who were interested in the field of arts, and he gathered them and began filming the movie. While there were many who considered him a joker and laughed at him based on his activities, and a group on one side who insulted him and talked about him in his absence, even though he knew all this well, he didn't mind any of it, trusted his dreams, and tried to make everything come true.
Within a few months, the 3rd Block Teaching also came. Nasir Hasan went to Al-Marjan Girls' School in Sammanthurai for Unit Collection. Hasan requested and obtained the timetable to teach grades 7, 8, 9, and 10 as usual. Afterward, he wrote the Lesson Plans and Scheme suitable for teaching. The senior lecturer in charge of Tamil subject was appointed as the supervisory lecturer.
The first day for the two-week Block Teaching arrived. He went to Al-Marjan Girls' School to teach the lesson. While teaching the lesson 'The Hereafter' (மறுமைநாள்) in Islamic Studies to the students of grade 9, the senior lecturer in charge of Tamil subject came to the school to supervise Hasan. He went to grade 9 and taught the Islamic lesson to the female students. After the lesson ended, the lecturer requested Hasan to teach using practical examples for the female students. He also pointed out some weaknesses in Hasan's teaching activities. He told Hasan to correct all of them and continue the teaching activities and left. Hasan taught in the same manner.
The lecturer only came to supervise Hasan once. Hasan waited, expecting him every day. But he did not come, and only when he inquired did he find out that "he had been in a motorcycle accident." Hasan also felt a bit of sorrow hearing this. Hasan went with the teacher trainees in the class to his house to see him. Hasan told the lecturer, "The lesson I am going to teach Grade 9 tomorrow is 'Qada Qadr' (Divine Decree); I expected you to come and see me; but a situation arose where I had to come and see you; this itself is the best practical example for 'Qada Qadr,' and I plan to teach the students the lesson by showing this example tomorrow." The lecturer smiled a little when he heard this.
The next day, Hasan went to school and taught the lesson very well to all the students. Many female students liked Hasan's teaching very much. Many female students requested Hasan, 'Ask for this school for the Internship and come here.' Hasan thanked all the female students and bid farewell to the school. Along with that, the 3rd Block Teaching ended. That final day of Nasir Hasan's 3rd Block Teaching in his college life was a very happy day for Hasan.
Due to the continuous heavy rain, at the farewell ceremony held for the retirement of the college Dean, Nasir Hasan wrote song lyrics for them, and using technology, he created a song. He videoed the Dean, edited the video beautifully, and created a video song. A lecturer in the college invited Nasir Hasan onto the stage, showed the video song at the ceremony, and praised Nasir Hasan in front of everyone. This is considered the first praise and record Hasan received in his life. That song received a huge reception among everyone.
Thinking that "he must show his class friend, who deceived him by showing false friendship, who he is," and that he must "develop and show her enough to make her think that 'she lost the friendship of a person like this'," Nasir Hasan participated in all the ceremonies held in the college and displayed all his abilities. He spoke in Tamil and Sinhala languages. Nasir Hasan, who had not presented himself for anything except the college's Green Project, participated in all the ceremonies held in the college, displayed all his abilities, and developed in all educational activities. He showcased all his personalities.
In the college ceremonies, he spoke in all three languages. He called the junior teacher trainees, conducted programs, and gave guidance and advice. Furthermore, Nasir Hasan presented every idea he tried to convey to the world through social networks. And gradually developing, Nasir Hasan gained more and more progress and expertise in all fields: education, business, food, agriculture, environment, sports, and technology. He also thought that he must set and show a big record in all fields.
He created a website named 'Nasirhasannetwork' and provided educational information. He provided all information related to education not only in Tamil but also in Sinhala and English. Furthermore, he created WhatsApp groups, Facebook pages, and Youtube channels named Nasirhasannetwork. He provided all guidance related to the National Colleges of Education not only in Tamil but also in Sinhala language. His website became so famous that if anyone searched on Google from anywhere in the world, it would immediately appear.
Nasir Hasan developed to the extent that the Psychology lecturer would use Nasir Hasan as an example in every lesson when teaching other classes. Nasir Hasan, who was the leader of the college's Green Project, was appointed as the leader for the college dormitory and environment, and after that, he was also appointed as the leader for solid waste management. He properly carried out the leadership responsibilities given to him. At the Independence Day ceremony held in the college to mark Independence Day, Nasir Hasan received the 'Environmental Pioneer' (சுற்றாடல் முன்னோடி) badge from the new Dean of the college.
Even some lecturers in the college needed Nasir Hasan's help educationally and technically. He received the cooperation of all the lecturers to showcase his abilities in all fields. Finally, he became an accepted person among all the lecturers in the college.
The 'School and Society Program' of the Addalachchenai National College of Education was held at Maruthamunai Al-Madina College and Ash-Shams Central College. The teacher trainees split into two groups and went to those two schools. Nasir Hasan was engaged in preparing the school environment for learning and teaching activities, staying at the school for 3 days with the teacher trainees. He was very eagerly engaged in painting murals on the classroom walls and decorating the classroom. Furthermore, Hasan beautifully videoed the activities done by the other teacher trainees in that school. He beautifully edited the videos he took, used AI technology, created a song named 'The School that Brings Knowledge' (அறிவை அள்ளித் தரும் பள்ளிகூடம்), turned it into a video song, and released it on YouTube. That song also received an excellent reception among the teacher trainees.
The sports competition held among the 20 National Colleges of Education in Sri Lanka was held at the Diyagama Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium. Hasan had no interest in going there and participating in the competition. Some teacher trainees in the college were sad thinking about Nasir Hasan not participating in it. They went and asked Hasan, "You, who were the champion of the 400m race and participated in running competitions with seniors even in the last Inter-House Sports Meet held in our college, why didn't you go for anything?" To that, Hasan told them, "I have participated in many sports competitions, won, and received many certificates; currently, my mentality is not in the sports field; I have an obsession to set a big record in the field of art." After a few days, Hasan thought a little. "This is a ceremony attended by 20 National Colleges of Education; if I don't participate in this competition, I will definitely regret it someday." At the last moment, Hasan submitted his name to participate in the long jump competition. Afterward, joining the college sports team, he trained, and the next day, left the Addalachchenai National College of Education for the Diyagama Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium.
Many teacher trainees from other National Colleges of Education were eagerly waiting just to see Nasir Hasan live. Many came looking for Nasir Hasan and spoke. Many who did not recognize him also inquired about him from the teacher trainees of the Addalachchenai National College of Education. Many Sinhala medium College of Education teacher trainees who met Nasir Hasan there were people who were in his Nasirhasannetwork WhatsApp groups. He also received their support there.
The sports competition held among the 20 National Colleges of Education started at the Diyagama Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium. Many of the Addalachchenai National College of Education sports team who were taken there did not participate in the competitions, saying, "My leg, my hand hurts," after participating in only one or two competitions. When the two who were taken for the 400m race both did not participate, and there was no one from the Addalachchenai National College of Education for the competition, at the last moment, at a time no one expected, Nasir Hasan stepped onto the field.
Many who participated in the running competition with Hasan were runners who had been selected for the Physical Education course in their colleges and were fully trained for sports. But Hasan was not afraid seeing them. His confidence said that he could do it. The competition also started. Nasir Hasan, who ran very fast from the start, got tired halfway. He came in 5th place at the end of the competition. After the competition ended, Hasan was very disappointed, thinking, "If I had run a little slower at the start and increased the speed at the end, I could have won." This was the first time in Nasir Hasan's life that he participated in a sports competition and did not come in the first three places. However, he was happy thinking about his participation in the competition he himself did not expect, and the support he received from the teacher trainees of other colleges.
On the second day, the high jump competition was held. Hasan participated in it. But he did not get any place in it. On the final day, the Medley relay race was held. No one from the Addalachchenai National College of Education had any intention of participating in it either. Everyone was very tired and said they couldn't. Hasan, who thought, "Somehow, I must participate in this; I must get a place for our college from this competition," called his college team members and discussed it. Encouraging everyone, saying, 'Let's try, it's okay even if we come last; we shouldn't stay without participating in the competition; the honor of the college is important, let's try to win,' he prepared the team at the last moment and participated in the Medley relay race.
In the Medley relay race, it was decided that a young woman would run 100m first, followed by a young man running 200m, then a young woman running 300m, and finally Nasir Hasan would run 400m. The sports competition also started. When the young woman who ran 300m brought the baton and handed it over to Hasan, the other competitors had already run about half of the track. But Hasan ran very fast, tried, and got the sixth place. Hasan was not disappointed at all. Nasir Hasan was happy thinking about his college team members cooperating and participating in the competition amidst great difficulties. He gained the best unforgettable experience in life from the sports competition attended by 20 National Colleges of Education.
There is no one in this world without dreams, wishes, and expectations. Many expectations were in Nasir Hasan's heart as well, such as "the life partner who comes to me should be like this, should be like that." Every time he went home for the college holiday, and every time he came back to college, he came alone and went alone. Even in college, he was always alone. He who liked loneliness grew tired of that loneliness after a certain time. Three-fourths of the travelers on the Kandy-Akkaraipattu bus he usually took to college were female students of the South Eastern University. A wish came to his heart that "If I see a good young woman among them, talk to her, and get her consent, both of us can travel together; my loneliness will also go away." But his heart did not give importance to his wish. His heart said, "It is okay to be insulted in any other matter, but only in the matter of girls, I should not be insulted from now on." Even in college, he did not love anyone. He dismissed the wish that came to his heart with the belief that "at the right time, someone better than he expects will come to him."
Once, Nasir Hasan, returning to college after a holiday, did not board the regular Kandy-Akkaraipattu bus, but boarded the Katunayake-Akkaraipattu bus. As soon as he boarded, he saw a beautiful young woman there. Hasan understood that "she was someone who boarded the bus to go to the South Eastern University." The bus she usually took was completely full, and she and her two friends were sad, thinking, "There are no seats," and wondering what to do. At that moment, Hasan said to the young woman and her two friends, "I am also going to Addalachchenai College; if you go to the main bus stand and board the Kalmunai bus; get off at Karaitivu and board the Akkaraipattu bus from there, you can get off at the university, and I will also get off at the college the same way: come, let's go." When she asked, "Is it possible to go that way?" Hasan said, "Come, let's go," and took them to the main bus stand.
While traveling for a very long time after boarding the Kalmunai bus, Hasan asked the young woman her village, name, and the course she was studying. In response, she told Hasan her name, that her village was Matale, and that her course was Islamic Studies. Hasan did not ask her anything else. He absolutely did not have the habit of asking for a phone number like other men. The South Eastern University also arrived, and she bid farewell to Hasan, saying, "I'll take my leave," and got off. Hasan liked the young woman. Hasan's heart said, "That's not love, that's desire." Hasan thought that if the young woman he saw had never loved anyone until now, he would try to gain her consent and choose her as his life partner. "But when will I see her again?" he did not know.
A few months later, Nasir Hasan had reserved a seat on the regular Kandy-Akkaraipattu bus to return to college after the Hajj festival holiday. A Maulavi teacher trainee from the college always called Hasan and said, "If you board the Katunayake-Akkaraipattu bus, you can go to the college a little faster, come on that one." He did not like traveling on it because "window seats are not available." That day, due to his insistence, he boarded that bus. As soon as he boarded, there was no window seat, and he did not want to go on it. Just as Hasan was about to tell them, "You go, I will come on the bus I usually take," and get off the bus, Hasan saw the young woman he had seen that day on that bus. He immediately got off the bus and peered through the window. When Hasan realized, "It is her," Hasan felt great joy seeing her for the second time. Hasan decided to travel on the same bus and boarded it.
While traveling on the bus, he thought of talking to her. Hasan's heart said, "If she perhaps refuses to talk to me, it will be like being insulted in front of everyone," and he did not speak. Hasan inquired about her from a female teacher trainee from the college who was traveling on the same bus. That female teacher trainee told Hasan that "she is a very good young woman." Since she possessed all the things Nasir Hasan expected from his future life partner—beauty, virtues, education, a good family, and being a young woman who had never loved anyone until now—he liked her very much. Hasan first told this matter to that female teacher trainee herself. Hasan did not sleep on the bus that day. He watched her from a little distance and enjoyed it. As soon as the South Eastern University arrived, she got off there. Hasan also got off at the Addalachchenai College in the same manner. Since the day he went to college, her memories were in Hasan's heart. Hasan wondered, "How can I express the desire that came to my heart to her?"
Hasan received a phone call from the female teacher trainee of the college whom he had inquired about her. She said, "The young woman's mother asked to prepare and send your Bio Data (information sheet)." Hasan was surprised to hear this and asked her, "What happened?" She said, "I just informed them that someone from the college likes their daughter." When she asked Hasan, "Is there any objection?" Hasan said, "No objection," and prepared the Bio Data beautifully and sent it to the female teacher trainee of the college, and the Bio Data reached the young woman's mother.
The young woman's mother said that she would inquire about Hasan and convey the decision. The next day, Hasan received a phone call from the female teacher trainee of the college. The female teacher trainee of the college told Hasan that they had said, "Everyone likes him, if the mother and father like him, the daughter also likes him, should we talk about the marriage and fix it?" Furthermore, she told Hasan, "I didn't think this would work out so quickly." As soon as he heard this matter, Hasan was speechless with joy. He said, "Jazakumullahu Khair" to the female teacher trainee of the college who spoke for the young woman he desired.
Afterward, the female teacher trainee asked Nasir Hasan, "You won't deceive her, will you?" He said to her, "I have never deceived anyone in my life until now, I don't even have that habit, why would you ask me like this," and at that moment, he decided, "That young woman I desired is my Life Partner." After that, the teacher trainee asked Hasan, "Should I get the young woman's phone number for you to talk?" To that, Hasan said to her, "No, I am at college, and besides studying, I am working a lot without rest; I need to study; there are only about two months left for the Final Exam; we'll see after that."
The female teacher trainee asked Hasan, "The young woman's mother sent the phone number and asked your mother to talk to them; will your mother talk to them about the marriage?" When Hasan said, "She will talk," she also sent the young woman's mother's phone number to Hasan.
Hasan told this matter to his mother. Hasan's mother also agreed to it and spoke to the young woman's mother on the phone. Hasan's mother also mentioned the important fact that "the condition of their family, and that they don't have their own houses, facilities, or anything." To that, they told Hasan's mother, "We don't have big facilities either; we have 2 daughters; both have been raised very well, facilities are not important, when we inquired about your son, they said he is very good."
They said, "The marriage proposals that talk about our daughter come from faraway provinces; my father does not want to marry off my daughter to a faraway province, we do everything according to my father's decision; we should talk to him about this," and they asked Hasan's mother, "Is Deltota far?" To that, she told them, "It takes an hour and a half to go to Deltota from Kandy." After that, the young woman's mother told Hasan's mother, "As soon as the daughter comes home from the university on Saturday, I will tell her about this matter, and as soon as my father comes, I will ask for his decision and tell you; if you need to bring your son from the college, can you bring him? To fix the marriage." Hasan's mother also said, "Yes, I can."
After Hasan's mother spoke to the young woman's mother on the phone, the next day Hasan also thought of talking to them. He spoke with respect, always calling her 'Mummy' (Mum). He told them, "My mother might not have told you everything about us," and Hasan told them his complete real-life story from the beginning until today. To that, they told Hasan, "Houses, facilities, and property are not important; when we inquired about you, the female teacher trainee said you are very good; as soon as the daughter and father come home, we will ask everyone and convey the decision." Hasan strongly believed that "what he desired will happen." Hasan thought, "A beautiful Story Line is progressing; it should end with Success."
That Saturday, Hasan left the college for home with great expectations. He waited for the young woman's mother's phone call. On Monday night, his mother received a phone call from them. The young woman's mother told Hasan's mother, "Don't think anything; my father says to marry off both daughters somewhere very close; Deltota is far; this matter will not happen just because it is very far." Hasan felt very sad when he heard that. Hasan was very disappointed, thinking, "The desired thing did not happen." Waiting with great expectations, Hasan was finally frustrated. When Hasan's mother came near Hasan and spoke to comfort him, patting his head, "Are you sad? You will get a better young woman than this," he cried.
"It is very far" was something Hasan could not accept. Afterward, Hasan called the young woman's mother the next day and tried to talk. They kept saying, "We can't do anything against my father's decision." Hasan told the female teacher trainee who had spoken for the young woman what had happened. To that, she told Hasan, "It's not just the distance; you also have more responsibilities; you have a sister; your father is not well; you are the eldest in the family; it will take another year for you to get a teaching job; even if you earn, you have to look after the home first; they might have thought that even if they give their daughter, there will be no progress." Hasan was very sad to hear this. When Hasan asked her, "Please help in some way," she blocked his phone number, considering Hasan a nuisance. Hasan, who thought, "I don't even have friends to tell my sorrows to, and there is no use in telling anyone," wrote everything that happened in his life story. After that, using all the desire, love, and expectation that arose in his heart, Nasir Hasan also wrote a realistic poem named 'Disappointment' (ஏமாற்றம்) expressing his sorrows and feelings.
I did not desire everything visible to the eye, young woman! My eye only thought of seeing you, whom I desired!
The first day I saw you, my heart itself desired, saying, 'No more loneliness, I only need you'!
When you had everything—beauty, virtues, education, a good family—my soul desired and expected only you, saying, 'Only you are needed'!
If everyone agrees and they fix you for me, I dream, thinking about the day we both travel together!
Even though responsibilities are many, if you are handed over to me with responsibility, my eye will protect you like an eye protects the eyelid!
Even if there is no beauty, money, or property, the ability, self-confidence, and effort I have are enough to make you live, young woman!
The moment the person who spoke for you asked me, "You won't deceive her, will you?" my heart itself decided, "You are my Life Partner"!
Even if your own eyes thought of deceiving you, my eyes never thought of deceiving you, my eye!
Alas, young woman! You did not deceive anyone, I myself was waiting with great expectation, believing, "You are the one destined for me," and finally got frustrated!
Even though my heart knew, "You are not destined for me," when my tears still refuse to accept it, I wrote it as a poem for you to know my love, young woman!
In this way, Hasan wrote the poem, using everything to express his sorrows and feelings. Afterward, Nasir Hasan told the deputy leader of the college teacher trainees the matter that had happened and all the difficulties in his heart, asked him to video it, and put that video on YouTube as a scene from his movie under the name 'Disappointment.'
Afterward, Hasan made sure the young woman's mother saw that video. He also expressed all the sorrows in his heart in a Voice Note and sent it to the young woman's mother from his father's WhatsApp number. They, having seen everything, called Hasan's mother and told her, "Don't think anything," and recounted all the activities Hasan had done to his mother.
They were very sad, telling Hasan's mother, "Your son said that 'we deceived him,' and he acted in a movie scene named 'Disappointment' at the college; we were very sad to see it." They also told Hasan's mother, "Not only that, your son said that 'we refused only because of your poverty'; we did not look at poverty or anything; it's not that my father doesn't know how far Deltota is from Matale; he said it won't happen only because of the single reason 'it is very far.'" Hasan's mother told them, "From now on, no problem will come to you from my son." Afterward, Hasan's mother called Hasan, told him everything they said, and scolded Hasan severely.
Hasan was sad, thinking, "In that case, was everything that the female teacher trainee told me—'This is the reason' why what I expected did not happen—a lie? Didn't I do this because of the sadness I got from hearing the reasons she gave?" When Hasan questioned himself, "Whose fault is this?" his heart said, "It is entirely my fault." Hasan finally understood, "As soon as they said, 'It is very far, it will not happen,' I should have let go of it; there is no fault of theirs, it is all my fault."
The 4th Block Teaching also came. This is Nasir Hasan's final Block Teaching in his college life. Nasir Hasan went to Al-Muneera Girls' School in Addalachchenai for Unit Collection. Hasan requested and obtained the timetable to teach grades 7, 8, 9, and 10 as usual. Afterward, he wrote the Lesson Plans and Scheme suitable for teaching. A senior lecturer who had obtained a PhD was appointed as the supervisory lecturer this time.
The first day for the two-week Block Teaching arrived. He went to Al-Muneera Girls' School to teach the lesson. The school was a school with over a thousand students. There were more than thirty female students in each class. With the experience of completing 3 Block Teachings, Hasan did the final Block Teaching even more excellently. He was able to teach so that all the female students could understand.
Hasan got to know the teacher responsible for the library in that school. She is an Arts graduate in Philosophy and Psychology Counseling from the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka. She is serving as an Assistant Lecturer. She has published several poetry books. Hasan told her everything about himself and his dreams. She understood Hasan well and encouraged Hasan further. Her first poetry collection, 'Scribbles that became poetry' (கவிதை என்றான கிறுக்கல்கள்), was released in 2013. In her second collection, a poetry book named 'The sea that slips through the lines' (வரிகளில் நழுவும் கடல்), on the front page, she wrote, "With love to the young Nasir Hasan who tries to set records," signed it, and further wrote, "Congratulations and wishes for setting records," and gifted it to Nasir Hasan.
On the 9th day out of the 10 days of Block Teaching, the supervising lecturer who had obtained a PhD came to supervise Hasan. Hasan then went to teach the Islam lesson to the Grade 10 female students. After the lesson, the lecturer also pointed out some weaknesses in Hasan's teaching activities. Hasan accepted all of them, corrected them, and performed his teaching activities.
The next day was the final day of Block Teaching. Several teachers in the school requested Hasan to 'Ask for this school for the Internship and come here.' All the Grade 7 female students gathered and gave Hasan the best gift. Nasir Hasan thanked all the students and bid farewell to the school. Along with that, the 4th Block Teaching ended. Nasir Hasan fully completed all 4 Block Teachings in his college life and gained the best experience for the teaching profession.
Nasir Hasan greatly expected that the female lecturer in charge of Islamic Studies, who had been a source of strength and comfort to him every time he was discouraged due to sorrows and difficulties during his college life, and who encouraged him by saying, "I want to see Nasir Hasan set a big record," should 'come to supervise him during the Internship.' But she had been transferred and had gone to a Teacher Training College outside the College of Education. Therefore, he was sad, thinking that what he expected did not happen. However, Nasir Hasan's heart kept telling him, "She will come back to his college," and "She herself will come to supervise him for the Internship." A question arose in Hasan's mind about how this could be achieved. His heart said, "It will happen somehow."
Nasir Hasan always told the female lecturer in charge of Islamic Studies everything he expected and what his heart told him. Hasan told the female lecturer in charge of Islamic Studies, "You only gave my class friend marks above eighty; I don't have the highest marks in any of the Block Teaching marks I've received so far; at least during the Internship period, you must supervise me and give me marks above eighty." To that, she told Hasan, "Insha Allah, you pray."
The deep trust and genuine affection the female lecturer in charge of Islamic Studies had for Nasir Hasan was what made Hasan expect such a thing. Suddenly, one day, the female lecturer in charge of Islamic Studies was transferred back to the Addalachchenai National College of Education. When she saw Nasir Hasan at the college, she happily told Nasir Hasan about it, saying, "Everything is your Du'a (prayer/supplication), Hasan!" Hasan was also very happy. Hasan told her, "Many things in my life are like this, whatever I think, all of that happens exactly when I least expect it." They told Hasan, "This happened during your final Block Teaching period." When Hasan later asked them to request her to supervise him for the Internship, they also agreed. When life gave such a surprise at an unexpected time, all the sorrows in his heart flew away, and happiness was established in his heart.
The movie Turning Point, which was planned to be released on Nasir Hasan's 26th birthday on June 26, 2025, was not released on the scheduled date. Various reasons influenced this. Especially because the scenes that were supposed to be taken in Welimada town, Badulla district, had not yet been taken, and because videos for 5 out of the 8 songs in the movie had not yet been produced, the release of the movie was delayed. Also, there was no good Video Photographer to beautifully video everything happening around Nasir Hasan in Real Life and to video his Performance. There was also no proper Camera. The Sound System of the movie was not proper. Various reasons, such as the approach of the final examination, also affected the non-release of the movie. It is noteworthy that many students from Colleges of Education and University students were eagerly waiting for that movie.
A lecturer who read Nasir Hasan's entire life story was very attracted to Hasan's story. Reading the story completely from that night until midnight, he sent a Heart React Message. As soon as Hasan saw it, he understood that 'he had read the entire story.' When the lecturer met Hasan the next day, he told Hasan, "The story is very good; every paragraph of the story was such that it created interest to read the next paragraph; I continuously read it everywhere I went; I couldn't stop the story halfway; it was midnight that day when I finished reading the whole story; the specialty of the story is that it was written for a young woman to read, and today everyone reads it, and the story is written entirely as Real; the story is very good, congratulations." Hasan replied, "Jazakumullahu Khair."
He praised Hasan by talking about the story and Nasir Hasan's writing ability with the other lecturers who were there. He told Hasan that 'the story would be published as a book by the college itself and that he would write a preface for it.' The lecturers also told Hasan that all the lecturers would collectively help in publishing the story as a book. The lecturers told Hasan, "Let's try for this as the next step after the final examination ends."
Hasan could not be very happy about hearing this. The reason was that since the beginning of Nasir Hasan's life story is a history, he thought that the end of the story must also be a historical event. Nasir Hasan wrote his real-life story as a story series because the story should be released as a Real Movie that is a Motivation for everyone. Nasir Hasan thought, "My real-life story should be released as the best movie, it should set a big record, and only after all of that is written in the story NASIR HASAN 100% REAL LIFE STORY should the story be released as a book," and he prepared for history.
Suddenly, Nasir Hasan's father fell ill. When he spoke, the speech did not come out properly. When he was admitted to the hospital and scanned, it was found that he had a tumor in his brain. It was then understood that 'that is why his father became like that.' He could not do any work and could not go to work. Due to this, the family fell into great difficulty, even without money for household expenses and house rent. Even in that difficult situation, the husband of Hasan's father's sister's daughter helped with all of Hasan's father's medical expenses and the family's needs, and looked after Hasan's family well, as if they were his own family. Even though there were rich relatives, the relative who became a relative by marrying Hasan's aunt's daughter helped Hasan's family a lot, a help that none of the rich relatives did.
The lecturer in charge of Nasir Hasan's class in the college, who learned about Hasan's father's condition, also came forward to help with Hasan's expenses. But Hasan told him, "No, sir, I don't want that." The reason Hasan said this was because 'Hasan also thinks a little about the difficulties of those who come forward to help him.' Hasan does not ask for any help from anyone. Even if given, he refuses. Despite this, the lecturer in charge of Commerce Education at the college decided to provide some financial assistance to Hasan's father. No matter how much Hasan told that lecturer not to, he did not understand. He told Hasan, "Allah created man to help man," and collected money from all the lecturers in the college and gave a total of fifty thousand rupees as financial assistance to Hasan's father. Furthermore, ten thousand rupees of financial assistance was also received from the male teacher trainees in the college.
An operation was performed on Hasan's father at the Kandy Government Hospital, and a small piece of the tumor in his brain was taken and examined. The Report came back saying it was cancer. The Report also stated that the cancer had occurred naturally without any reason. Everyone was sad, thinking that such a thing happened to him, who was always very energetic and a person needed by everyone. As soon as people heard about the disease he had, many people came from many places to see him. The doctor said that 'he can only be cured if the tumor in his brain is completely removed by surgery, otherwise every organ will become inactive due to the brain tumor.' Since the tumor was very large, it was difficult to remove by surgery, and due to the risk, medicine was given to prevent the tumor from growing. His father suffered in a very difficult condition, taking the medicine. Hasan thought, "My father cannot do any job from now on; I must do a job during the Internship period that generates some income and look after myself and my family responsibly."
The date for the National Diploma in Teaching Final Examination also approached. Hasan only thought that "it is enough to get a simple pass in the examination." When the final Block Teaching marks were displayed, Nasir Hasan was the only one in the college who received marks below 60. The person who received marks of 64, 73, and 69 in the first 3 Block Teachings only received 54 marks in the fourth final Block Teaching. Hasan was not disappointed as soon as he saw this. Hasan's heart said, "All Block Teaching marks are not marks received according to our ability and effort; they are marks received according to the viewpoint of the lecturers who come to supervise us."
It was a known fact by all teacher trainees that "the marks received from a lecturer who has obtained a PhD are low." He had given low marks to the other teacher trainees he supervised as well. Hasan held the score of 54 he was given as a grudge in his heart. The obsession to "get and show the best pass in the final examination" came to Hasan's heart. Thinking, "It is not so easy to get the best pass, I must get marks above 75 in all subjects; I should not stay without trying for that," Hasan, at the last moment, gave up all his jokes and focused more on studying.
The day for the National Diploma in Teaching Final Examination arrived. Hasan went to write the examination with great expectations. The examination question papers for the subjects held at the beginning were very easy. He wrote the examination very well. Although some subjects were a bit difficult halfway through, he tried as much as he could and wrote the examination. With two subjects examined every day, the examinations for the important subjects ended in 5 days. After the examination ended, a great joy and relief arose in Hasan's heart. After that, Hasan went home for the holiday. Going there, he studied for the examination of the General Subject that was scheduled to be held next. After spending the one-week holiday well and returning to the college, the examination for the General Subject was also held. When Hasan finished writing that as well as possible, the National Diploma in Teaching Final Examination was completely over.
After the 2-year college life ended, Nasir Hasan had many dreams in his heart about the school he would get for the 1-year Internship (Supervised Training). Also, considering his family's difficult situation and economic problem, Hasan especially expected many things. Hasan kept many expectations in his heart, thinking, "If the school I get is a school with Boding facilities, there will be no rent expenses; furthermore, if the school is a school that is an Exam Centre, I will get more holidays; I can go home during the holidays and do a job that generates some income; if the school has parallel classes like 'A' and 'B', there will be no difficulty in writing Lesson Plans; since the Akkaraipattu-Kandy bus goes to Kandy via Oluvil through a cross-road from Akkaraipattu to Dighavapi, the school I get should be a school located inside Oluvil from Akkaraipattu." No matter how much he searched, he did not get a school where all of those things were correctly located.
Once, while Hasan was in the college class, a male teacher trainee suddenly told Hasan, "Choose Akkaraipattu Muslim Central College for the Internship; you can also hold classes for the Advanced Level students in that school; it also has Boding facilities; the school especially has a swimming pool, which is the best place for things like Video Shooting; the swimming pool can also be used well." Hasan became interested in inquiring about that school. When he inquired about the school and learned that it was a school where all the things he expected—Free Boding, Easy Travel, Parallel classes, Exam Centre—were correctly located, Hasan was very happy. Then Hasan chose that school for the Internship.
Out of the male teacher trainees, no one except Nasir Hasan chose that school. Hasan told a few male teacher trainees about the features of that school and asked them to choose that school. Two male teacher trainees who understood what Hasan said chose that school for the Internship. If you ask who one of them is, it is the Commerce subject teacher trainee who beautifully videoed a scene in the movie Hasan acted in at the college. If you ask who the other person is, it is the Mathematics subject teacher trainee who displayed an excellent acting ability in his movie with Nasir Hasan. Within a few weeks, the list of schools for the Internship was also released. Just as Nasir Hasan wished, he received Akkaraipattu Muslim Central College. Hasan was also happy that the two male teacher trainees also received the same school. Hasan understood the fact that "what is destined to happen in life happens at the right time" from this incident.
Nasir Hasan searched on social media about Akkaraipattu Muslim Central College, where he was scheduled to work for 1 year as a teacher for the Islam and Tamil subjects. He learned that "Akkaraipattu Muslim Central College has gained distinction as the first National School in the Eastern Province and the second Muslim National School in the entire island of Sri Lanka." Hasan was very happy, thinking that he was going to work in such a specialized school.
That day was the last day of college life. The ceremony for handing over the appointment letters for the one-year Internship (Supervised Training) was held in the college's main hall. Hasan also received the appointment letter. The sorrow that "college life is over, isn't it" began to arise in Hasan's heart. He strengthened his mind by thinking, "I shouldn't be sad thinking about anything; I shouldn't break down in any matter further, I should only remember the happiness to come from now on." After the ceremony ended, Nasir Hasan first met the Psychology lecturer in charge of the class. He told him about the school he received and asked him to include him in his Du'a (prayers). When he told Nasir Hasan, "Out of the many teacher students I have met in college life so far, you are the student I like the most, I love, and you are my best student; I wish to see you become a great person in life," his eyes were wet. After that, Nasir Hasan went to meet all the other lecturers.
When he met the Senior Tamil subject lecturer, he told Hasan, "Everything you expect happens correctly for you." Hasan replied, "Yes, sir." He asked Hasan, "Who do you wish should come to supervise you for the Internship?" Hasan replied, "The female lecturer in charge of Islamic Studies." To that, he told the other lecturers, "The best quality I like most about Nasir Hasan is that no matter what is asked, he always answers honestly and talks openly." Nasir Hasan told the Senior Tamil subject lecturer, "You are not just a lecturer, sir, you are my critic."
The work of a critic is to encourage someone to create further by only talking about the merits in their creations without looking at the flaws. The Senior Tamil subject lecturer critiqued all the real-life story, poems, song lyrics, and songs created using AI that Nasir Hasan wrote. Especially in the real-life story Nasir Hasan wrote, no matter how many flaws there were, he did not criticize any of them and only pointed out the merits. This itself was an impetus for Nasir Hasan to create more.
Hasan had personally prepared a Form named "Self-Expression" (ஆளுமை வெளிப்படுத்துகை) using all the activities Nasir Hasan did in the college. When he handed it over to the Senior Tamil subject lecturer, he wrote the note for Nasir Hasan's real-life story in it, signed it, and gave it. Nasir Hasan thought in his heart, "The real-life story written in a simple language style for so long must now be written by handling the literary taste and the enjoyable elements to suit all aspects." Nasir Hasan thought, "The students who read the story should be directed to analyze the sentences written by the teacher in the story and thereby find and learn Tamil grammar and the Tamil language." The Senior Tamil subject lecturer who critiqued Nasir Hasan's real-life story was not only a main reason for the success of Nasir Hasan's life story but also a main character in his life story.
The lecturer in charge of Guidance and Counselling (வழிகாட்டல் ஆலோசனை), who was the best friend of the Senior Tamil subject lecturer, also gave Nasir Hasan many pieces of advice. Since the subject "Guidance and Counselling" he taught was the subject Nasir Hasan liked the most, he, who taught the subject excellently, also took a place in Nasir Hasan's heart as the lecturer Nasir Hasan liked the most. He advised Nasir Hasan, "You must do all the family responsibilities yourself from now on; you must also look after your parents well."
Furthermore, the lecturer in charge of Commerce Education, who fully supervised the Nasir Hasan Network, acknowledged Nasir Hasan's social service and expressed congratulations regarding it, and was a lecturer who had great sympathy for Nasir Hasan, who was very sad thinking about Nasir Hasan's family situation. He also gave Nasir Hasan a few pieces of advice. He also told Hasan, "Stop all social services for a while and think about yourself after this." After that, Nasir Hasan met the lecturer in charge of the Green Project he led and received his congratulations.
Hasan learned the fact that "even if one does not teach a single letter, everyone must respect a teacher" during his school life. Since he respected all the lecturers and worked well and honestly with everyone after going to the college, all the lecturers liked Nasir Hasan very much. All the activities Nasir Hasan did in the college were supervised by every lecturer, and they wrote notes, signed them, and certified them.
Finally, Nasir Hasan went to meet the lecturer who taught the Psychology subject to other classes, who always asked him as soon as he saw Nasir Hasan in the college, "The college magazine is not released yet! When will it be released?" Not only did he write a note and sign it regarding providing complete guidance and counseling to the students applying to the College of Education, but he also told Nasir Hasan that his Du'a (prayer) would definitely be answered someday for that service of Nasir Hasan. He proved to everyone who he was by displaying all his self-expressions (ஆளுமைகளையும்) and abilities in the college.
Afterward, Nasir Hasan met all the teacher trainees in the college class, apologized to everyone if any difficulties, mistakes, or heartbreaks had occurred from him, and expressed his wishes to everyone, saying, "Everyone must become the best teacher in the future." Finally, they called the lecturers in charge of the class, and everyone in the class collectively gave a gift. Finally, they took group photos with them. Afterward, Nasir Hasan met the male teacher trainees in the college, bid farewell to everyone, saying, "I'll take my leave," and expressed his wishes to everyone.
Nasir Hasan received great support from the teacher trainees in the college. Nasir Hasan told everyone, "I will definitely achieve a big victory in life. That victory is not a victory celebrated by one person, it is a victory celebrated by a group, and I am creating that group." Nasir Hasan also told everyone that "the cooperation of everyone, including parents, teachers, lecturers, teacher trainees, university students, and school students, will be a main reason for Nasir Hasan's victory."
College life taught Nasir Hasan the lesson that "I must identify my own mistakes, correct everything, and organize my life; I must not only become the best teacher in the future but also live as a good human being among everyone and go." Allah fulfilled everything Nasir Hasan wished and expected. When Nasir Hasan asked himself, "What have I done for Allah?" his heart said, "All my activities will be for Allah from now on." Finally, Nasir Hasan received the good acceptance of all the lecturers in the college, bid farewell to the college, and joined Akkaraipattu Muslim Central College on 2025.10.13 as a teacher for the Islam - Tamil subjects for a one-year Internship.
The continuation of the story will be updated soon.
